BoS Renewal
I know others have been able to renew the BoS RS, but I never have. I've had to wait until the 12 months after opening… Nothing else worked for me.1 -

Forgot to say earlier that I didn't include a cheque - I'll fund by bank transfer

What’s the thinking, the 8% going NLA? And replaced with the 6.25 and 5 as previous… looks like the club Lloyds 6.25% is being kept at £250 max a month. Too late to attempt to renew my Lloyds and get the 8%?

I've just successfully renewed my Lloyds RS and opened a new 8% one

Lloyds
I have just renewed my Club Lloyds monthly saver, but I was only able to open a new Club Lloyds one; not a non-Club one, as it wasn't shown to me.
I seem to remember when the 8% products first became available, I had the choice of opening either a Lloyds or a Club Lloyds; I chose the Club Lloyds one at that point, purely because I thought if there was any improvement in the future, it might only apply to the Club one (e.g. an increase in monthly deposits).
I thought I'd try renewing just to a regular Lloyds one, in case when the new one launched tomorrow, you would be able to hold a Lloyds and a Club Lloyds again, but it wasn't to be; so if anyone else is considering this on the off-chance, I wouldn't bother.

LLOYDS
I just renewed my Club Lloyds RS (6.25%, £400 per month) and opened a new one (8% at £250) in the last half hour.
My Old one was due to mature on 3rd November and I didn't want to risk not getting the 8% one incase it is being pulled.
I am aware this might not make sense to most people, but I think it works out for me, even if the 8% doesn't get pulled. £250 has gone straight back in at 8% and about £3600 has gone into 6% accounts (I hadn't funded Monmouth or Earl S this month and had space in my S.Edge saver.) The balance will get 5% until it goes into my RSs on 1st October. So the loss of interest is very minimal.
I was planning on renewing my Halifax RS before 31st October to catch it before the Halifax log in stopped and because I was short of funds for Oct/Nov, but I am not going any more.

Thanks all, managed to renew both and open the 8% one. My club Lloyds was full at 4800, but not due to mature until next month, grabbed the 8% at 250, looks like 250 is going to be the new max anyway.

Don't close, select the "renew" option. Rather than the app you might need to do it in the browser. I zeroed the balance.
