Didn't recognise my postcode either, but account was opened straight away last night after entering address manually.

I received a text this morning from Tipton saying that my account has been successfully opened.

You do not have to wait for the letter with your unique ID to fund it, I funded mine this morning.

I'm being asked to contact them to verify my ID. Same as what happened with Ecology, only I reckon I should now be on the electoral roll at my new address.

I had this as well: it's because I used to have an account with Tipton. I said I was an existing customer registered for the app, managed to remember my PIN and it let me into the app and I was able to apply.

Looks like they have pulled the App based one for the time being - The branch/postal one is still showing online.

It was there first thing this morning and I successfully applied maybe around 8am. Yes its gone now. I'm thinking the staff arrived this morning found they had X thousand applications pending to work through and withdrew it from sale. Indeed this possibility is why I applied ASAP.

Quick update as I can't get it done via the app, they are pulling the app version for now.

Branch version still available.
