The email I got says my existing regular saver won't be affected
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -
There seems to be a new Tipton & Coseley app based regular saver launching tomorrow, 8th although I have opened it already.
- £200 maximum monthly deposit - 6.50% Gross - 6.31% AER
Interest is calculated daily and paid annually on 31 October and at maturity on 31 October 2027. Withdrawals allowed.
Save & Grow Regular Saver to 31.10.27 (Mobile App Account)
There is a branch / postal version as well

That is how I read it.

Good spot.
Not sure why the AER isn't 6.50 % given the interest is added on both 31 Oct 26 and 31 Oct 27.
Anyway, opened it but didn't note the account number, it doesn't show in the app yet, hopefully they will send details by email or it will tomorrow.
@Bridlington1 the 125yr Reg Saver is now closed issue so has gone NLA.

I have also just opened this regular saver. Unfortunately my nominated account (BoS) is blocking me from sending the first payment. Hopefully I can get this sorted tomorrow.

Zopa
Mine runs out on 3rd December. I'm not renewing it for the same reason, my balance is £3067.95.
I didn't mind broader changes. I went for 3% cash back on bills, my bills are already coming out of Zopa CA, with this new offer I'll gain £24 per year.
I didn't think Zopa will run this RS for very long. The product was introduced to attract new customers (and retain the existing), I assume they have now reached their target.

Tipton
Just downloaded the app and opened the RS. As a new customer, I need to wait for my unique ID to arrive by post before I can continue to use the app.
I will transfer the £200 tomorrow.

Indeed, or maybe just stick to page 1 of this thread. I think that a search on the www would show that nothing comes close to the wealth of information contained herein.

zopa RS - mine is a 6 month term and due to mature end September. Is there a renewal option somewhere in app to open a new one or would I have to close existing one first? I can’t see regular saver as a product available to me in the app (which I guess may be because I already have one open) and according to the chatbot it says to close my existing one I would have to switch to the new benefits package first which doesn’t include the regular saver.
