Does if you use the website, but the app usually updates a day earlier.
The app updated the same day last week when the Monmouthshire App Exclusive matured.

I tried to, but failed miserably with my request they close my existing RS. Should perhaps have called them to get this done, rather than have relied on the current account closure form. My issue 6 has now matured, and I have opened the 7 today. Bottom line was positive for me, though, if only by pennies.

Still waiting now, too. Don't stress, MMTH can be a bit slow but they have always been reliable.

No issues opening as an existing customer, majority of the form was already pre populated after entering my existing password.
Tried closing the old matured one via live chat without success, even though we are supposed to be able to do this 'in writing'.
Incidentally, the faster payment from Saturday is still showing as 'pending' even now, over 72 hours later, and account name still hasn't updated (cannot see any option to manually rename this)

N.B. (Amended from Forum Rules): You must investigate, and check several times, before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my content, as nothing I post is advice, rather it is personal opinion and is solely for discussion purposes. I research before my posts, and I never intend to share anything that is misleading, misinforming, or out of date, but don't rely on everything you read. Some of the information changes quickly, is my own opinion or may be incorrect. Verify anything you read before acting on it to protect yourself because you are responsible for any action you consequently make... DYOR, YMMV etc.1 -
Agreed. If they weren’t planning on launching a full suite of exclusive products, why bother moving Members’ Month from June to the month containing Savings Week?!
Sure, the referral version caused them issues last year but they could have done away with that one or made sure they copied and pasted the later T and C.

Penrith building society are going to be celebrating their 150th anniversary soon. Maybe the combined might of this forum could persuade to launch a super duper regular saver? Maybe not

I have two issue 5s, both maturing in February - not bothering to refresh. I refreshed them from issue 3s, at that time I thought the rates will be coming down so it would be good to make 6.5% to last longer. At the moment I'm happy with my current VM balance earning 6.5%. I would make more sense refreshing from issue 6 if only 3 payments were made.
