Fortunately for me I'm a new Tembo customer as of today.
I had to think a while as to wether I wanted their new reg saver as I've spent the past year getting rid of most of my others. But, the 8% offer just about meets my minimum criteria so I've decided to give them the benefit of my custom. I'm all set up and will now totally forget about them until October 2027.

Given I don't have any other accounts with Tembo, I see no reason not to keep a £1 in the account after the rate drops and after the bonus interest is paid …. what would that cost me long term if another attractive product comes along in the future that features a loyalty element, …. or not?
