Just spotted my first payment Saturday 24th has been credited as 26th Oct!
Compiler of the RS League Table.

I did the same as you and it allowed me to setup DD for 1 Nov. But I manually changed it to 5 Nov to be on the safe side. Can always change to the 1st for December

2. I have not set up a DD. I must have skipped over that part, as I was planning to!

The Leeds BS Branch & Post Member Regular Saver @ 6.5% seemed worthwhile since we were going to be passing a branch. The assistant said they should do Branch offers more often, as they’ve gained quite a few new customers who were opening other accounts so that they can qualify for loyalty offers in future.
I was a bit taken aback to be issued a passbook! it’s a while since I’ve seen one of those.

They replied quite quickly to my secure message to let me know I'll be able to transact again once my account has matured, so I think I just cut it a bit fine and the maturity process had already started. As long as I can get the money into my nominated account by Friday I'll be happy - which means a Thursday morning request, since they operate on next business day withdrawals rather than same day.

Last month my experience when closing my RS online at 07.30 is that I received the money in my current account later the same day.

Tembo,
I still have a couple of fixed ISA's with them. It is disappointing this RS rate is only new customers - I guess this won't be one you keep open in case of any future customer loyalty offers.

Leeds RS @6.5%

I was one of them😄 I had a gap in my membership, this offer prompted me to open £1 EA in branch and I told them the reason for opening it. The person who opened the account for me said that decent rate Loyalty RS was the result of members' feedback and signed me up for Leeds TalkingPoint😀. Could have done it online with £100 EA and reduce it to £1, but I'm not far from my local branch and visiting BS branches brings some nostalgia.

I've received mine the same day too.

Interesting, I was going by the following statement they have on their online withdrawal page:
"If you transfer funds to your nominated bank account and we receive your request before 3pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) cleared funds will be available in your nominated account the next business day.
Requests received after 3pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) will be processed the following business day, with cleared funds available the business day after."
(same timeframes indicated for account closure requests)
It sounds like they are doing better than this and pumping out funds same day, which is good.
