I finally manage to open one. It is quite different with yours, even after clicking 'spend' it is probably because I do not have 'Smart Saver Hub' option.,

For those who have similar problem. From Home menu where you see your Zopa current account on the top

Scroll down until you see Benefits, Click the right arrow. After you click this you will see 7.1% AER on Regular saver.

There must be something wrong with the apps as I could still can not see this 7.1% AER Regular saver. on 'my saving pots'.. I always need to access it from 'benefits' button on home current account menu.

Also, It is quite worrying as I just added £300 from zopa biscuit, while the account have been deducted, this amount has not appeared on the 7.1% regular saver. it might get messed up, disappear and you lose access/track to your regular saver..

    Well I'm not.

First of all, it takes a LOT longer than the five minutes they claim. You have to submit a linked account for interest, and set up a login before they've even accepted your application. Which they haven't. Just like Suffolk, they're unable to verify me electronically, even though a dozen other providers can. I expect they will wait until tomorrow before telling me I have to submit ID, which I do not have. If they do that I will just ignore them.

EDIT: a couple of hours later an email appeared in my inbox saying the account was open! I'm wondering if they moved on to some sort of secondary verification, maybe of a manual nature which Suffolk can't be bothered with.

Same here, smooth and fast application, as a new customer.
    Also very nice app

Very impressed by Ecology and by the heads up in this thread 👍

I'm having the same issue; unable to verify me electronically. Which is odd, as I've opened scores of savings accounts this year with electronic verification.

Ditto. Speed of incoming transfers is like lightning, able to watch the outbound (on PC) whilst seeing the inbound (on Tablet).

Just one minor gripe, Ecology App isn't compatible with my device ... probably not suitable for Tablets, similar to Tesco Bank and a few of the Building Societies.

No problem for me either, £200 already showing in their account. First time customer.

Seems to be a bit hit and miss whether they can verify you electronically or not.

Thank you for heads up. No problems with application (web) as a new customer. Will wait until August pension payment comes in early next week before funding.
