Yes, very impressive. I deposited from Cahoot, immediately received a text saying that it has to be from nominated account and funds will be returned, £200 funds immediately appeared in my Cahoot account, sent money from nominated account and immediately receive a message and email that funds have arrived, showing in the app straight away.

In the past, before they launched new online service and bypassed clearing bank (Co-op), deposits didn't arrive until next working day.

Thank you forum ! Managed to catch this RS and a new BS too - happy.

I wonder if withdrawals will be just as fast as deposits are too ? But shows how fast CoP can be done and deposits can be processed with faster payments for a smaller BS.

My online access is now sorted, but it seems they require a signature and original/certified bank statement to enable withdrawals from the online service. But they mention a photograph of signed form and statement would be acceptable. Which is handy because the "enclosed pre-paid envelope" was not enclosed, and I rather suspect the online messaging will be quicker. Can anyone confirm they've been happy with a photo of an original statement (rather than needing certified)?

It is a bit of a nonsense as it was the same nominated account I chose when applying through the app and they've already processed a couple of app withdrawals to it.

At least I have now been able to request closure of the first RS to get my remaining pennies of accrued interest.

Lapsed member here who was racing through the application only to come across this at the final stage.

Their systems are now in a taffle in that they recognise that I have a RS so won't let me apply again but don't recognise my login in credentials.

Requires OS18 on Apple, released less than 2 years ago so an unusual stipulation for a building society and the first app I haven’t been able to get on my Mini 6 that I’ve left on 17 for performance reasons and also because it’s almost full. Ready to upgrade to the OLED version when it’s released.

Is COP working on Ecology today or shall I leave the funds where they are until tomorrow?

Ecology RS - despite being an old member from years ago my application has stalled at the end the application - they will be in touch. Hope they don`t want 2 ID documents posted to them like they did 6 years ago!

Thanks for the heads up, all setup here as a new customer and deposit was instant as most have said.

Their new system looks to accept deposits 24/7 and interest counts from that point, might be worth updating the cut off times list when you get a chance :-)
