BOS Regular Saver.
Have been able to open 8% version today having closed 5.5% version yesterday, had to login to Halifax online banking to fund from LBG accounts, would not accept transfers from LBG accounts via BOS online portal.

I have a Monmouthshire issue 8 maturing on Saturday so have been reducing the balance gradually this week. Don't want my money stuck in a low paying account over the weekend.
It's annoying that you have to re-enter the nominated account details into the app every time you want to make a withdrawal. I once entered the wrong bank details ( Santander instead of Lloyds) so I submitted another withdrawal request with the correct nominated account. Monmouthshire only actioned the withdrawal to Lloyds.
At least withdrawals reach my current account same day, around 3 to 4pm.

With Monmouthshire I'd be inclined to withdraw using online banking, still same day withdrawals but once your nominated account is approved you don't have to keep re-entering it. If you do this make sure to submit the nominated account details in advance as they have to manually run a COP check before approving the nominated account for withdrawals.

I used "contact us" option on Tipton website to enquire if they will accept application sent by email. Then a member of staff emailed me an application form and I sent everything by replying to that email.

Re prev Q
CAN I have the 8% fix with all 3 of BofS Halifax and Lloyds?

A word of caution
I just tried updating my nominated account at Monmouthshire - it may have been a mistake on my part - as the website mentions sending them sending a paper form in the post to sign/return

Yes, but you can't have both 8%ers (CLRS & MthRS) with Lloyds - so you can get 3 off.. but not 4.
Tell us what you have got now with each of them, if you need help.

I'm from Dudley but rarely go into the town, I am guessing you took the picture from by the Zoo opposite the Mosque?

That's right! I got the train to Tipton, then walked to Dudley, then bus into Birmingham. The bus was painful! Was wondering whether it would have been quicker to walk back to Tipton and train, but would have depended upon timings.
Am I correct in thinking Tipton is the closest station to Dudley, even though there's two stations with Dudley in their names?
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0
