sure you can (if you already have a Halifax account), lots of people do have them. It's been discussed extensively over the last few pages.

Lloyds RSs
Only had one RS (Club) of any type in the last twelve months and just sucessfully renewed that to IA.
Interestingly, though I'm now only being offered the a new Club RS, not the ordinary monthly one which I would have preferred in case they ever retrospectively applied the one Club per 12 month rule.
Tipton RS
At only £125, cost of stamp (unless can be done by email as @allegro120 has done), and loss of interest while cheque is sent and cashed, this one is marginal for me. So enquired whether internal transfer could be done to app account, but seems not allowed

Apologies if already mentioned by others...I only have Lloyd's credit card and managed to open 8% RS no problem.
Already have the BoS 8% but like many/most others, no luck with the Halifax where I have nothing.

I am almost certain that if you downgraded your current account from Club to standard, and not yet have a Lloyds RS, you would then be able to sign up for the ordinary one. You could then immediately upgrade your standard current account to a Club again.
However.
As you can only have one Lloyds RS now, you wouldn't really gain anything.3 -
I completed a survey the other day and mentioned that nominated bank account quirk. I expect it to be resolved any day now 😆

Principality - can the soothsayers predict if anything new is due to be launched by Principality in August - I know that it probably wont be 8% but something north of 6.0% would be good but probably an idle fantasy.
Just calculated that there is now enough funds in the general easy access pot to cover the August SOs but September will be a bit more problematical.
I have Zopa, Darlington and Principality 6 month issue 5 maturing very late in August.
With this in mind it would be a good time to have a tidy up and close Leeds RS. Also a good time to cull various Principalities regular savers 36,37 and 38 that I've been hanging onto for no good reason - all paying way below an acceptable level of interest.
Something new from Principality to replace the 10 accounts ( 36,37,38 and maturing 6 months issue 5 mine and OHs) that will be drastically reducing the google sheet in August

The Mon BS app nominated bank account quirk was actually quite useful in that it last year allowed me to withdraw to another account that passed COP (nominated account is a former Halifax Reward now barely used for obvious reasons.)
I don't want to end up with a blocked account (therefore loss of interest) for paying in far in excess of my usual maturity and then being unable to split the funds between the 2 current accounts I now use for RS distribution. Even using the debit card to move September's money to Skipton Member Easy Access to cut down on faster payments would mean a few days lost interest.

Strange, I seem to recall I had to do that back in 2022 when I first got online banking with Monmouthshire but since then I've just been able to change my nominated account online and they do the COP when their staff get chance, I've not had to fill any forms in, it was just a case of go to nominated accounts, add the details and that's that.
I'm assuming they only want proof if the COP fails.

BS AGMs: Having so many accounts with various BSs inevitably means a lot of AGM correspondence - mostly via email nowadays although I have received one from Monmouthshire BS in the post recently. I tend not to bother voting etc. unless there's a prize draw or they say they will pay charities for voting.
Could we not overwhelm some small BS if we all were to vote a certain way? Demand a 10% savings account or fire the CEO. 🤣
