Lloyds: both Monthly Saver 5.25%A and Club Lloyds Monthly Saver 6.25%A open and funded

Is there a solution to obtain two new at 8% or is it a case of working out if it is better to continue as is or possibly change the Monthly Saver 5.25%A to a new 8% and then carry on with the Club Lloyds Monthly Saver 6.25%A and the one 8% ? Or are there some other possible good options ? When applying is there any thing to be careful of ?

If there is a good post on this, please let me know. I've gone back about 20 pages and the answer wasn't apparent.

You can scrap both Lloyds savers you currently have, and open either of the 8% ones. Only one(1) monthly saver now allowed with Lloyds.

The 'new' rules say that you can only hold one Lloyds Regular Saver, you would need to close (or rather 'renew') the two RSs you hold in order to open 1 new 8% RS.

Sums I've done say that holding the 6.25% to term may be slightly more profitable than closing it and replacing with an 8% - depends where you put it and how much you have in the 6.25.

i have decided to keep both my Lloyds RS until maturity.

I have renewed then closed my Halifax RS and opened the new one at 8%.

Am I safe to close my BoS RS , via Chat, and once it is no linger visible, I can open a new one at 8%, right?

Same here - kept my 2 Lloyds RS accounts, renewed my Halifax one.

I have closed my BoS RS via chat. Then waited until next day, and was able to open a new 8%er. Many other people have reported the same. No guarantees this still works but chances are it will.

    BOS Regular Saver.

Have been able to open 8% version today having closed 5.5% version yesterday, had to login to Halifax online banking to fund from LBG accounts, would not accept transfers from LBG accounts via BOS online portal.

I have a Monmouthshire issue 8 maturing on Saturday so have been reducing the balance gradually this week. Don't want my money stuck in a low paying account over the weekend.

It's annoying that you have to re-enter the nominated account details into the app every time you want to make a withdrawal. I once entered the wrong bank details ( Santander instead of Lloyds) so I submitted another withdrawal request with the correct nominated account. Monmouthshire only actioned the withdrawal to Lloyds.

At least withdrawals reach my current account same day, around 3 to 4pm.
