Tried to open a current account to then access the new 8% RS. Failed, twice, after taking the selfie, dumping me back at the start of the process, with no comment. Could be my driving licence photo is of a somewhat younger me.

Then phoned to get an in person appointment, The system assumed you were an existing customer, so had to sit through all the options, before eventually getting through to a helpful CS person.

So far not impressed by Santander.
