Jeez. How many code requests do you make? To achieve a 99.9% success rate in the 6 months I've been a customer would mean I would need to have made 1000+ requests. 2000+ requests if there were more than one failure.
I don't know how long the delay issues have been going on. I can only judge based on the time I have been a customer.
Edit: Actually I told a lie. I now see I've actually been a customer of Principality since July 2024. The oldest account still live with them I opened in July 2025.
I've only kept a log of the delays (and some of the successes) since August 2025. I started because I must have started realising there were regular issues at about that time. To be fair, before logging the issues, I may have also confused Principality with Progressive who I was also experiencing text receipt issues from at around the same time. The Progressive issue was resolved on 09-June-2025 when they switched me to email, saying they no longer use text to send OTP.

Santander RS
The above account matured yesterday and interest added. Today it's still showing as a RS issue 20 @ 5%
is this normal?
I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.0 -
So what do Zopa mean by "option to renew"?
Presumably after 6 months you have to start from scratch again?

Yes and only if it's still available or you may find the rate has gone down.

I wasn't getting passcodes last night either (Vodafone network).
For the people closing and opening their Principality RS, do you only have one of each issue? I think I have 2 or 3 issue 4 reg savers, from rolling over old ones. As the terms state you can only have one of each version, I'm a bit risk averse to try and close one to open a new one, in case computer says no lol.

Principality
I’m pretty sure computer will say no. You have to wait for issue 5.

For those of you who tried for another Issue 4, did you get the rejection by secure message or by letter?

Secure message

Just a figure of speech to generalise the situation. I’ve been with Principality a few years and in that time I think I’ve had about 2 missed texts and maybe 2 gremlins playing with the sign in process when I’ve been online. 😁
