Santander RS
Not sure about it being normal, but if you have a standing order in place it will automatically renew…
From the first page of this RS thread:"If you have paid into your Regular eSaver by standing order from your Santander current account (including one in joint names) that continues on beyond maturity, they will automatically renew your Regular eSaver for another 12 months at the interest rate and on the Terms and Conditions applicable at that time, and transfer the final balance at the end of the term (including interest earned) to your Santander current account from which the standing order was paid, including if your current account is in joint names. Alternatively, if you don't have a standing order in place when your Regular eSaver matures, Santander will transfer your final balance including interest earned to an Everyday Saver account. They will contact you with more details, together with your new interest rate, closer to your maturity date."

Mine matured yesterday and interest has appeared overnight. I've been making manual payments rather than standing order. Can I just shift the balance elsewhere and carry on paying £200 a month into the same account?

You could, but that's a chunk of cash earning 5% - unless you need the cash for spending or feeding other > 5% RS.

The absent/late codes is still an issue. I got the feedback form so I completed it.

Santander RSI agree. From memory, when mine matured last summer, it carried on (I did have an SO set up) as usual. I'd check the interest rate today/tomorrow and also on Monday, and then determine what you would like to do.

Did anyone actually get their bonus interest payment please? Doesn't look to be credited on my account. Thanks

I did, though I seem to recall it wasn't paid instantly, I contacted them by secure message IIRC and they paid it then.

I've run out of places to get more than 5%.

@ForumUser7 same here, I messaged them around 5th Jan I think, my question was "have I complied with the terms" (even though I knew I had) and they then paid it

Mine has been credited without prompting - though I don't know when it showed online as I didn't check until now
