In previous editions Saffron required 12 months membership, They might change this condition, but I wouldn't be too hopeful. It could be a good idea to open something like Small Saver (3.9%), only needs £1 to keep it going, for continuous membership.

Working fine on iOS. Saffron have been undertaking site maintenance since last Friday with an outage between late Friday night & early Monday morning. Maybe they had to do a few tweeks this afternoon, but the App seems to be working fine this evening.

It seems from that offering, that Dudley have followed Principality's 5% rate (f) on their 6 month RS - I thought Principality would end up setting the interest rate bar for RSs. Let's hope we have some more tasty offerings in June - 6%+ would be nice 🤗- Come on Saffron BS, get the ball rolling 😅.

Bridgnorth Lions Club is celebrating its 50 year anniversary and Dudley BS do have a branch in Bridgnorth.

The club raises money for local charities and by issuing this regular saver it is hoped that the club's profile will be raised.

0.25% of the total interest earned on this account is donated directly to the Bridgnorth Lions

I'm undecided whether to go for this. I already have three rs with them .

You would think by the name that the bs head office would be in Dudley itself and not a branch, yet h.o. is in Brierley Hill which is three miles away.

The 0.25% ONLY applies to the Club Saver, not the RS account.

The RS product summary states

The Society will make an annual donation to The Bridgnorth Lions Club, equivalent to 1.00% of the average month end balance of your account. The payment will be made in April each year, until April 2028.
