So much volatility with these tariffs. They are literally changing every day. So glad I got Sep v1 now for gas.

That v1 is looking good so far, v2 gas unit is up 0.5p as well as that higher early exit fee.

My Cosy Octopus 12m Fix Sept 25 v1 rate is ending soon.
I cannot decide whether to go to the Cosy Fix June 26 v1 or the latest 18 month Fix Sept 26 V2

Although I have a heat pump, during the winter restricting it to the Cosy hours is insufficient to heat the house. Avoiding the peak period of 4-7 is not a problem.

I’m talking myself into the 18 month fix as the rates are considerably better than the new Cosy fix but I’m also aware I’m thinking this with my Summer Brain.

I know whichever option I choose the bills are going to be significantly higher. I’m also aware that dithering could result in these options not being available.

Echoes my thoughts! Though I do kind of wonder if some level of sanity will ever return, or if it's all too far gone for that now…

When my fix expires next spring, if anyone's offering a half decent 2 year fix (for gas at least) I might be tempted to take it.
