Any uses for empty sweet tins???

I use them for storing craft bits and bobs,especialy 'recycled 'bits cut off from Christmas cards which I use as toppers for my cards0

I've recently read that you can make a smoker from them. Drill two holes in the metal lid, put a layer of wood chips in the base of the tin [not pine] and then make a rack from chicken wire to go over the chips and put your food on the rack and the lid on. Light your BBQ and when the coals go white place smoker on top. Once wisps of smoke appear cook for 10-20 mins but check the food is ready before serving.
