I received my first letter from PwC in Jan and the second one mid March 2026.

Thanks to those who have written above I was prompted to check the paperwork re: a new multi point locking uPVC front door installed in 2014. Lo and behold, the policy no. on both letters matched the 10 yr guarentee run by 'Consumer Protection Association' of Shefford SG17 6DQ and insured by 'Elite Ins. Co. Ltd.' of Grantham NG31 9RT, obviously since moved to Gibraltar (possibly to a more relaxed regulatory regime?).

As the insurance policy cover was for 10yrs (until 2024) it has now expired.
