Don't think it's a scam.Fluffball25 said:I've received a letter too, but I can't remember signing up to this company is it a scam?0 -
Having received the same letter as everyone else, I have trawled through my paperwork and found it relates to a 10-year warranty on double-glazing installed in 2014.0

We’ve received the same letter today, it relates to a solar panel installation we had done in 20130

I too received a letter and have no idea what company it relates to0

I too received one of these letters and had no idea what it related to. Seeing the posts I looked back and found it was for an insurance backed guarantee for Solar Panels installed in 2013. Was for a period of 10 years anyway so no longer valid.0

Don't suppose you know if this is tied to the panel manufacturer or the installer? Can't find my solar panel details and also got the pwc letter. I always thought the panels had a 20 year warranty no? May be different for different installs.Puppywalker65 said:I too received one of these letters and had no idea what it related to. I got the same letter which initially puzzled me. Thanks to comments on this topic, I checked my files and discovered that it relates to an insurance policy for a solid conservatory roof installed by Wetheralds Insulated Conservatory Roof Systems Ltd (based in York) in June 2015. The cover period was 10 years so the PWC letter is now academic and can be ignored.

Same, double glazing units from 2016GrahamLM52 said:Having received the same letter as everyone else, I have trawled through my paperwork and found it relates to a 10-year warranty on double-glazing installed in 2014.0 -
Just in case this helps anyone else solve the mystery.
I am not 100% sure but think this refers to pet insurance for our two cats sold by DBI in the 1990's, later taken over by Allianz.
Policy cancelled in 2010 when the second cat died so no longer relevant for me.
Think PWC are just mailing all names still on their records - whether active or not - to make sure they have covered everyone that could possibly have an interest.0 -
I've had one today think Admiral may be one of their insurers. Seem to remember them being underwritten by a Gibraltar Company but not surealkepo said:
