I don't need to justify myself to you or anyone else. I know what I can and can't do and that's all that matters.
I used to be on meds but they made me very ill so the doctor took me off them.
Also, I used to have a leaving care worker and a project worker who worked for a different county foster care team. They used to come around and help me with benefits and stuff. Now that I'm 21, they're not allowed to see me anymore.
As I said, I'm not going to justify myself to anyone here. I know my limitations and my own mind.
Well that's not strictly true, leaving care workers don't abandon you altogether on reaching 21 they hand cases like yours over to a floating support team - like mine did. The difference is they encourage you to sort your own affairs out and be independent.0 -

Mine didn't. It was literally "You're 21. Bye".
They didn't hand me over to anyone else. My care case is closed.2019 Wins

Mental health care in the Community is very variable-bit of a postcode lottery. Where I live, it has become almost non-existant due to withdrawal of funding.Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.....0

I'm not posting in this thread anymore, because, quite frankly, it's making my mental health worse and I'm getting stressed over it.
Good day.

Yet another piece of mis-information it would appear.. :rolleyes:0 -

sadly this happens far to often in areas with high demand for these services.
LM does your local MIND drop in centre have an email address, if you can't get out in person try emailing them and explaining your situation. From your posts it's clear that you need support and lots of it. There are ways round these problems, and if you stick around here people will help you find them
Another option might be emailing your local CAB they have advisor's who will be able to help you with your benefits problems.0 -

I believe they do, so I'll try emailing them. I haven't been in so long, I'm not sure who is new and who has left now.
I'll try emailing CAB too. Thanks.

Thank you for confirming that my posts have at least been helpful to you.
Anyway you cherry pick what you want to hear, don't let the truth and facts get in the way.:rolleyes:0 -

I think emailing Mind and the CAB are great ideas and a costructive way forward for you.
Try not to worry about who is, or isn't there anymore. Just say what you want/need to say as whoever it is they will be understanding.
Try not to leave it too long either - could you email the both right now, before you have chance to worry about it?
It may take a day or two for them to respond so the sooner the better from that angle too.
Good luck.0
