Well done on sending those emails LM - that's a really good start.

What else have you eaten since I last posted?

Have you had a hot drink? A mug of tea does wonders.

    Hope you're ok.

    Pipkin xxxx

I had a banana and a cup of tea. I love tea. :)

    *hugs*

Well at least I havn't stooped to the level of patronising that many have on this thread, yourself included.

    The OP is 21, not a 5 year old.

Neither is a great thing to have!

BPD is less understood and probably more difficult to treat though - imho.

    I agree.

Sorry if I have been out of order, maybe I'm a bit hyper at the mo

Well perhaps we have different ways of dealing with situations, that doesn't make your patronising efforts any better than my somewhat more down to earth comments any better.

You may, or may not believe that I was actually trying to help the OP by making her face reality, it may seem a harsh approach to you, but rest assured it was well intentioned.

Whilst I agree with you in principle when it comes to the *harsh approach* I think maybe an assement of the siuation is in order first dont you think?

With me, yes, take the harsh approach but its hardly appropriate for someone with MH issues!!

TBH it sounds as if the OP has had a rough start in life and if she needs a little "mothering" so be it. The other posters are trying to help not hinder. My previous post re being treated like a child related to my SIL who (it now appears)has very different issues and background, and therefore the content of that post may not have been appropriate for the OP.

It cannot be easy for a young person of 21 to be living alone with the conditions the OP has, couple that with the Fiance leaving and the care issues, her life must be very difficult. I know that the care in the community network has many holes to slip through, even if you have a supportive loving family behind you,if you do not and do not have the energy to sort it all out yourself it is that much harder. I have kids of this age and would hate to think of them coping alone with issues such as the OP has outlined here. Cut her some slack and try to offer some sympathy.
