Lloyds have sent me a letter (pretty sure I'm paper-free everywhere I can be) with exactly this information.Well, I'll be testing out this enquiry service, because I've instigated a switch but have received no confirmation email or anything, and am now panicking that I've switched into the wrong account (i.e. Classic not Club, which doesn't get the bonus). And from what I can see, there's no way of knowing if you've got a switch in progress, either online or in the app.
Same here, although it arrived towards the end of my switch. I've also had electronic correspondence from my donor bank (Chase) to say the switch is in progress0 -
There isn't.clairec666 said:

Despite signing up for SMS updates, all we've had is an initial text saying they'll keep us updated (via the app iirc rather than an actual SMS) and nothing since. Switch is due to complete tomorrow so I rang the switching team today to double-check it was actually happening. They confirmed it was. It would seem their SMS updates are few in number!masonic said:
I did it all online too. Perhaps there's some sort of threshold for how far in advance you select the switch date for them to feel the need for this extra SMS.alewin said:
My switch should start in 2 days, no emails or SMS yet.masonic said:
SMS received just over a week after applying to switch (10 working days ahead of completion): "Your switch will start in 3 working days. Please contact 03456 025 293 if you have any questions. From the Lloyds Bank Switching Team".liger said:I'm about to do the Lloyds switch and they have future switch completion dates into February. If I choose a date like 9th February would I still qualify for incentive? I'm assuming it's the date you sign up for the switch has to be before 3rd of February and not the completion date. The date I would start the switch would technically be today?
I applied online not via the app.
The switching team is on 0345 604 9956 - option 4 I think if enquiring about a switch in progress.
Also, when you ring, they finish the call by reading a script pointing out that the app, if you have it, has a 24/7 manned enquiry service, accessed (bizarrely - not a place I'd normally look for messaging!) by selecting the search function at the bottom of the app screen. Not tested it myself, but the implication seems to be you can ask about switch progress via that.
Which is annoying, as you'd think that should be easy (and helpful) to do.
Our joint to joint switch has completed, as scheduled, today.
(edited to add: no message yet from Lloyds to say that though!)0 -
Thanks - given the speed of the postal service in my area, it will probably arrive after the switch completes!flaneurs_lobster said:

You'll generally know in a 2-3 days of the switch starting by the appearance of payees and DDs.Set up a payee on the donor account if you don't have any as something that can be monitored.2

I haven't had any Comms from Lloyds either for my switch due Jan 26 and I can see the DDs from my donor account are now in the new Club Lloyds account.masonic said:You'll generally know in a 2-3 days of the switch starting by the appearance of payees and DDs.Set up a payee on the donor account if you don't have any as something that can be monitored.0 -
My switch is also due to complete on the 26th, and like you, I can see DDs on my new Lloyds accounts. I have 3 DDs to move - and can see 10 at Lloyds 😂. They all have different references, none of which are visible in the source account. No amounts, and no DD history is visible in Lloyds. I am not losing any sleep over this now. Will check back on the 26th for the final transfer status.crumpet_man said:

I've had two text messages from the switch team. First to confirm switch instruction received and second to confirm switch will start in three days.
Cheers0 -
Weird, I messaged them via the app, and they told me they couldn't deal with it online and I'd have to phone the switching teamZanderman said:

Was it just me who found the ID process impossible? I just spent nearly half an hour getting to reconise my passport, it wouldn't, so it said it will move on and do the ID later, which it did, guess what another half hour before it finally accepted it.....moved on to selfie.....that was worse! It was a nightmare and when it finally said it captured it it loaded on to the next page it was an wrror page that said that something went wrong! Now I have to do the whole thing again!? I might just go into branch can't they verify me there?0

I'm finding it impossible to open a Club LLoyds account.
I downgraded my Club LLoyds to a classic 6 days ago. I still have a joint Club Lloyds account.
I have tried to open a new Club LLoyds today and it's not available on the list.
Does this right itself or do I have to do something like clearing history or giving it more time?
I have the option of applying for a Club LLoyds Silver but I don't need the benefits and wondered if it might be possible to downgrade to a Club Lloyds once the incentive has been paid.
Any tips would be brilliant
