Just tried switching online to Club Lloyds joint account but won't let me do it online, says I need to go into a branch.
Is this correct??0 -
Switch a solo to a joint ? Not allowed online - as there maybe current or future liabilities that you could be transferring to the joint other, without their approval.Chud786 said:Just tried switching online to Club Lloyds joint account but won't let me do it online, says I need to go into a branch.

Joint to joint (same people) is OK, as is joint to solo.

For what it's worth, the cloud symbol next to an app in the App Store only means that app is owned* but not installed on the device. It has no bearing to any data on the device or in the cloud.flaneurs_lobster said:
Is that what the cloud symbol means in the Apple appstore? How can you go to the settings for an app that you've deleted? Or is that another clever Apple feature that I'm glad I'll never have to suffer?masonic said:
Hmm, perhaps not the most helpful of features to back up the settings in situations like this. One thing you can normally do is go into the settings on your phone for the app and clear stored data, which should reset it to the state when it is first installed (I think iOS has this, Android user here).julie777 said:
My husband's phone is an iphone. After deleting the app, we went back to appstore and the Lloyds app has a cloud next to it! Tried installing that but it still thinks he is Julie! Deleted again and it has had the cloud symbol for several days. The accounts are one joint account classic and one classic in my sole name. And yes, nothing seems to work as it should. Think he will have to phone them which is very annoying and who knows if they can help or not! Thanks for your input.flaneurs_lobster said:
Not how apps work (at least on Android), if an app is deleted it takes everything with it. Didn't understand your earlier reference to a "cloud" symbol - is this in the new instance of the app once you've installed it but before you've entered any personal details?julie777 said:Re above, we deleted that app but it seems to not be fully deleted.
Regardless of the app, as you say, you (or rather your husband) is unable to open a new sole Club current account?
Would you mind just listing what accounts you each have open already?

what does "app is owner" mean?0 -
Can you apply to switch via the Lloyds app - I can't see that option anywhere?0

Yes you can. It’s under Apply - Current Accounts - switch to an existing account, or apply for a new Lloyds account (where you can then request a switch as part of the application)kuepper said:Can you apply to switch via the Lloyds app - I can't see that option anywhere?2 -

Hi. Just wondering for those people that may have switched to Lloyds in the past for their previous incentives, how long after the Switch Completion did you receive the incentive? I know the T's and C's state within 40 working days on this offer. I was curious whether they typically stuck to that or had a history of paying out much quicker. Thanks!0
