I suspect you would not get the bonus. But only one way to find out for certain, I guess 😉atlantis187 said:I has my last incentive from Lloyds on 17/1/23 and still have that account for the cinema tickets.
Should I go for this or are they proper strict?0 -
Proper strict in my experience (from a couple of years ago). Even wrote me a letter explaining why I wasn't getting my bribe.atlantis187 said:I has my last incentive from Lloyds on 17/1/23 and still have that account for the cinema tickets.

So after everything going through ok when I applied online and getting this message last Wednesday I still hadn’t heard anything by Saturday so called them and for some reason I had to go into branch with my ID 🙄. Took ID in this morning and account now open and switch going through, no idea what the issue was as never had problems with ID before. Now just need my direct debits to show up on my donor account as these seem to be taking a while but I’d already picked a switch date near the end of the offer to allow for this 🤞🏻 there won’t be anymore issues

Just to update. Switching done easily over the phone, despite lack of debit cards (though have to sit through all the scripts). Was told the app and website switching form's insistence on a debit card was under review, but don't hold your breath for change anytime soon. Direct number for switching team is 0345 604 9956.Zanderman said:Mrs Z-man and I, both with existing personal Club Lloyds accounts, decided to try opening a new joint one this afternoon, with a view to switching in a joint account from elsewhere.
First hurdle - opening the account, would the system let us open another Club (as some have implied it might be tricky, even if within the rules as a joint a/c)? - was relatively easily passed. Though it did require us to sit down side by side, both with the app open, where the app guides you through opening a joint account as long as the other person is online too, and is able to enter a code that the lead one of you generates, from the app, and the other to then enter in their app. A tip though - at the penultimate stage don't let the non-lead one click the 'back to my accounts' button, as that will abort the process. We did that first time. But got there on second attempt. New joint Club open and so all seems fine, so far but....
Second hurdle - switching in when we don't have debit cards for the donor joint account - proved impassable. The system just assumes you have debit cards for the donor account. And won't submit the switch request without the debit card info. We don't have that info, as we don't have debit cards (it's a long-standing account used for bills, never for debit card transactions and the bank, Santander, ceased to replace the cards some time ago as they were never used). So a complete switching failure.
Need to ring the switching team tomorrow (they don't work late on Sundays) to see if they can bypass the debit card need.5 -
What's the latest switch/completion date available for selection from those who've done the switch? One of my DDs won't pay out till 01/02/26 so need a switch any date after this, is it possible?0

Switch has to start 'by the 3rd Feb', not end. So if you want it to start after the 1st, ask for it to start on the 2nd. Which would be a switch completion date, taking 7 working days, of 10th Feb. Or the 3rd for the 11th. Bear in mind 1st Feb is a Sunday, so DD may, or may not, actually happen that day.brainiack said:What's the latest switch/completion date available for selection from those who've done the switch? Is there any way to track the progress of the switch? I asked for my switch to complete on 23rd Jan, but didn't get any confirmation email and see no info in the app. Should I expect to receive some notification later this week once they start the switch?0

You should have had an option when filling in the switch form for updates via SMS, but if you didn't, or said no, then you may not get updates during the 7 days. I did opt for SMS updates, so far just had one saying they will keep me updated.AltruisticPie1544 said:Is there any way to track the progress of the switch? The bank you're switching from will normally write a letter saying we've been told you're switching. But if sent by post that won't arrive for days, possibly not until it's all over. But worth checking, for that bank, if there's a message about it on your login on the web or their app.1 -
Good afternoon everyone!
Have you been asked for the email address while applying for the switch via the app? Weirdly my application just asked for the phone number and to create username/password. After providing all the information the app displayed "Verifying ID" and that's it, no information about the outcome etc and now the app just displays the home webpage. Called Lloyds Bank this morning and they couldn't see the application at their end...0 -
I also asked for my switch to complete on the 23rd January, I received a text today from Lloyds advising that my switch will start in 3 days which will be the 16th meaning that seven days later it should complete on the 23rd.AltruisticPie1544 said:Is there any way to track the progress of the switch?
