Herne Bay was fun. A little bit grey but I did a seafront walk, went to Spoons for lunch of JP and no bean chilli con carne and a pepsi max for a bargain £4.99. Did a trawl of the chazzers and purchased a few bits to sell on plus a great Mountain Warehouse coat for me for £7 looks unused - to replace my old JoGLE one which now has dog bite trauma associations (and is relegated for allotment visits). Leg okay - tried to cling film wrap it for the shower but failed lol! NT have said due to data protection they can't share any info on the dog walker - which is fine but it's a criminal act that occurred on their premises. Good luck when the Police get in touch!
Messaged boss and said this isn't working out so all the very best, and got a really gas-lighty message back. Have just replied putting her straight and saying an apology would have been nice - some people are beyond help!
DH having a pizza, DS2 not hungry so will sort himself out later if he wants something. I too am not hungry so will probably just have some fruit later whilst watching the Olympics.
I froze a leek that was going bendy @maman and it was added to the pasta dish. Worked fine.
Really annoying about the phone @joedenise grrrr!
Please share that thing in the sky @bubbs - could do with some sunshine here!
Hope your Mum is doing okay @Longwalker and that you're doing okay in yourself xx

I must have cross posted @joedenise. I don't remember exactly but hash browns are less synful than you'd think.
Sorry to hear about the demise of your phone. Hopefully you feel you got your moneys worth from the old one if you look at daily use.
🤞I've had mine since preCovid and it's still going strong. It's nothing fancy, just one of those that the Chinese government can listen in to. 🤣

Afternoon all, nice day today - the only dry and sunny day for the next few days at least! Forecast for tomorrow onwards colder and showery so no good for drying washing so have done 2 loads today and hung out on the line. Will give it another hour or so and then get it in. Hopefully it will be more or less dry but will put in the TD to finish off/air it so it can be folded and put away.
Been shopping again this morning and managed to get some of the sweet chilli sauce we like (it's one of Lidl's offers from time to time) so bought 4 bottles which hopefully will last until its on offer again. Also bought some black rice to try as not had it before. Thought it might be a bit like wild rice but apparently it's more like brown rice but slightly firmer and also higher fibre. Will report back once we've tried it!
Hope the leg has cleared up once the dressing comes off and the ABs have stopped any infection. How many. more days have you got to end of the course?
Today's plan:
B - scrambled eggs, spinach, toast - HEB; P; S
L - picky plate including ham, boiled egg, sweetcorn, beetroot etc - P; S; F
D - pork & apple meatloaf, sage & onion roasties, green beans, peas - P; S; F; 2HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Swips - 2Have a good day everyone.

The spoons freedom breakfast is my go when I’m in there. Anyone know why it’s called freedom 🤷🏻♀️Pretty sure it’s not gluten free and it’s not vegan so where does it get freedom from 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️it’s been puzzling us for ages.
I went into the big city to watch Barnham yesterday. I was ok but didn’t live up to my expectations. I had a spinach and mushroom omelette before I went. We ate in Pizza Express - not my choice…there were 10 of us. I had lasagne and a side salad with a cuppa. 500 cals for the lasagne which was the lowest on the menu. I was quite pleased with myself as I turned down dough balls 😇I wasn’t hungry when I got home so didn’t have anything.
My halo slipped today though as I’ve been awake since 3 am. Dh had put an alarm on for 4.15 as he was helping his boss with a job in Glasgow. We’ve been sleeping in lately and I was paranoid about not hearing the alarm without my hearing aids in….dh just snores through alarms🥴 I was wide awake and we had workmen arriving at 8 am so I was worried I’d nod off again. Hopefully the damp in the hall is now sorted once and for all 🤞 They’ve put a device in the loft which blows air around the house to stop condensation and re plastered most of the wall heading upstairs which we’d had cavity wall insulation in and it’s been damp ever since. They knocked all the plaster off yesterday and put some waterproofing on. I’ve been very impressed….nice fellas, hard workers and they cleaned up beautifully 👍 I don’t think we’ll get away without painting the whole of the h hall and staircase. I’d hoped to just put paint on the replasterd bit. Anyway….because I’m tired I had my breakfast of porridge and berries at 5 am…..a tuna butty at 9.30 another at 11.30 a bar of aero and a bag of crisps over the afternoon I’ll have some soup for tea to do a bit of damage limitation. I keep hearing the tapes I’ve been listening to telling me I don’t need sugar every day….didnt stop me today though 🥴

That's not a bad syn value for the black bean sauce @Coxy11, I'd have expected more.
We've had sun since lunchtime but it rained this morning when we were walking. ☹️
That sounds like a big job @milann. Just do your best with SW while you cope with it all. Perhaps @joedenise knows about the Freedom breakfast as she often chooses that in Wetherspoons. 🤔
Good news about your DH's blood test @bubbs. What a rigmarole though.
Weighed this morning. I'm calling it STS, was actually a 0.4lbs loss. It's taking an age to get back to target but at least I'm not paying. 🤣
Just 2 swips today for BGTY sausages.

No idea why it's called a Freedom breakfast in Spoons but I like to think it's because it's free from sausages which are always high SWIP value for us doing SW! They used to do a breakfast with avocado and halloumi which I really liked but they only seemed to do that for a few months but worked out quite low syn/swip as the halloumi could be HEA and only a small amount avocado which I used to syn at 3.
I think I'd call that half lb off @maman rather than STS - give yourself the benefit of the doubt - LOL!
The pork and apple meatloaves were really nice but what a faff! Glad I made the full recipe so there are a couple to go into the freezer for another meal. There wasn't much in the way of sage and onion flavour on the roasties - could tell there was something there but couldn't say what it was other than the fact I knew it was sage and onion. It's a PON recipe from their All In One book. I think it's one of their better books as quite a lot of recipes I'm likely to use. Using another one from it on Saturday too.
Glad your DH has finally got his blood test results @bubbs. Pleased his bloods are stable and another couple of months before his next lot of tests.
Shame that Farnham didn't live up to your expectations @milann. Just draw the line and get back on plan as best you can - you can't change the past only the future.
