It's Sunday afternoon and the weekend seems to have run away with itself.🤔

Well done on your losses @milann and @joedenise. 👍🏻 You've really taken the health implications to heart @milann. That was a really good loss for you @joedenise. It was very kind of your friend to send you the gift pack but try not to let it derail you this week. Maybe Joe would help out.🤣

Commiserations on your gains @bubbs and @Jellybaby . Keep plodding!

It sounds like this on/off job is really getting to you @Coxy11 . Is it worth looking for something more reliable.🤔 Hope the scales are kind to you tomorrow.🤞🏼

Hope both your mums are on the mend @beanielou and @Longwalker. I expect you're run off your feet with visiting on top of everything else @Longwalker.

Since I posted on Thursday I've been doing 'good when I can' . The only extra syns would have been in my lunch out on Friday. I had what they called a Garden Breakfast (veggie) which was halloumi, avocado, egg, spinach, mushrooms. Swips would have been in slice of sourdough and a very small hash brown. It was delicious though. 😋 All other meals have been on plan.

Friday's lunch was offset by last night's dinner which was a small salad I had when I was out dancing. Only swips in the LTL mayo and I was driving so no alcohol syns.👍🏻

    Today's plan-

B- HEB toast, eggs (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk for drinks
    L-JP (F), cottage cheese (P), salad (S)
D- chicken casserole (P,S,F), many more vegetables (S)
    Swips- cornflour 1, weekend wine😁

Afternoon all, it's been dry and bright today but the garden still looks very damp so didn't bother putting out the bedding and just dried in the dryer. It's now been folded and put away and another set put on the bed.

The weekend has run away with me too @maman! I don't seem to have done much but the time has still disappeared!

DH has definitely been helping me out with the gift from my friend! When I phoned to thank her she said I didn't get you wine because the last time I got you wine you didn't like it - she'd bought me a Shiraz which is the one red I can't stand! It leaves a horrible after taste in my mouth so I just avoid it now.

More unwanted Swips today! DH decided to pick up a pizza for lunch! I cut it into 6 pieces and had one which worked out to 10 Swips going by the 1 SWip per 20g. There was probably some free foods in it as there was some pepper and onion; going to count the cheese as HEA! DH had 2 pieces so that means it will be the same again tomorrow for lunch!

    So today's plan:

    B - fry up with bacon - P; S; F
    L - pizza, chips - HEA; P; S; 10
    D - lamb, roast potatoes, roasted carrots & peppers, roast potatoes, green veg - P; S; F; 3.5

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    Swips - pizza 10; butter 3.5; 0% G&Ts 1

    Have a good day everyone

    Afternoon all,

Have been for a coffee with an MSE friend then did the food shop. We are having a new recipe of chicken, leek and mushroom tagliatelle tonight. It’s from a diamond SW members FB page.

Glad Joe is helping with the goodies @joedenise - we have cakes left from yesterday and I’ve had a cherry Bakewell which I very much enjoyed.

Have made plans for tomorrow so if boss does her usual text during antiques roadshow I will be only too pleased to say I’m busy!!

Nice one @Coxy11! It would get on my nerves not knowing whether I was working or not. She needs to give you some specific hours! I think it might be a good idea to look for something else. Is there anything available at the school where your DH works?

    Evening all 😁

We went home today, left here just before 10 then met people with their orders, got home at 2.30, then sorted veg out for tea.

It has not rained here today, wooohoooo, but if we have much more , next door to home will be flooded 😪

Well when i went home i had not got my pan i use for egg wraps as it was here, so compromised and used the waffle maker, made a lovely bacon and mushroom sandwich with 0.5 sv sauce.

Tea we had roast chicken, boiled carrots , brussels and green beans, mashed swede, roast carrots and parsnips, cauli and broc cheese, 3 sv for my half, yorkies made from 15g wholemeal flour fibre, having other 30g to make pancakes

One thing that annoys me here is there are no placemats or trivets to put hot things on, so i double fold a tea towel as don't want to burn the table or wooden counters!

The chicken and leek sounds tasty Coxy.

Ingenious waffles there Bubbs. Love the way you think your way around the food choices.

I like the ‘good when you can’ approach too Maman. We went to a place I’d never been to before to see the snowdrops in the grounds. They were stunning. From there we drove along the sea front to the town with the big illuminated tower and to our favourite cafe. They make all their own pies and puddings and ds loves them. Since he’s staying in Canterbury all next week and making a mini break before he collects his new house keys midweek…..we’re trying to go to his favourite places near here as he’s not sure when he’ll be moving to his new house. Depends on whether he can make a room liveable whilst he has the big lot of work done…..but that’s way down the line yet. They do a lovely chicken lasagne which is mainly minced chicken and tomato based and a tiny bit of sauce and pasta with a side salad. I had an omelette and beans for breakfast and walked 4 miles. No idea how many syns or swips but it’s the best I could do. I’ve refused sweets and biscuits…..my new mantra is ‘do I want ‘whatever’ or to go on tablets’……seems to be working for me 😀 so far.
Today I’ve had heb toast with beans and hea cheese.
Actifry chips 1 1/2 syns, pitta bread 6 syns filled with left over shredded roast beef, mushrooms, lots of onions, and pepper bound together with the gravy I froze 1 syn

Snacks have been fruit and 4 hotel chocolate tiny chocolate drops 😀

Thanks Milann, i did take a pitta with me to have bacon and mushroom in, but then i thought i wanted to use my fibre later and don't want to have 2 so i know i'll have egg wraps! Then i thought you dozy devil your egg wrap pan is where we are staying and i know they work well in there. So i opened the cupboard door and waffle machine looked at me so i said to dh and experiment, he goes oh god here we go 🤣🤣 but up his 😜 it worked.

Well next thing, i had 15g flour from 45 for yorkies, the other 30 i have just had pancakes with a sprinkle of sweetener and lemon juice, oh my god was lush 😋😋😋

Sorry everyone, its a me me me post again

£ hospitals have refused to operate on mother - a stoma - because its less then 50% chance of survival. But one hospital is taking her tomorrow , well she gets shipped up tonight and will be on the DCU

I asked her, did she really need to put herself through this

Im not sure she know how serious this all is, as in length of life.

Because of my AUADHD I see black and white , I see that she is at deaths door and that if she says no to surgery she may have a couple of weeks , but they can make it pain free. She's telling me the morphine is going to shorten her life and Im here with, there's not much life ahead but cant voice that

There's no relationship between us, I look after her as I would a complete stranger. . Only now there is that "she's your mother " thoughts creeping in

I also texted big sister who has had no contact for 18 years

thank you for letting me have my say here

Oh @Longwalker I’m sorry things are so awful for you and your Mother. So where will she be taken and is it close enough to visit? I really feel for you as it’s not easy when the relationship is strained. Do feel free to offload here whenever you need to xx

Morning, a much expected and well deserved gain of 1.25lb this week. I’m fine with that. I am going on a run shortly and then have another day at home. No contract for set hours @joedenise but would expect to be extended some common courtesy - seems not!

The tagliatelle was lovely - chicken thighs, leeks, onion and mushrooms - sauce was two pots of seriously spreadable light and a stock pot plus some pasta water - so just an HEA as it served 4. Realised I didn’t have an HEB yesterday.

I found some Aldi skinny sausages in the freezer so will have sausage and mash tonight with green veg. Will make a cauliflower cheese with the TGTG cauliflower which is still holding its own in the fridge!!
