@Jellybaby - I use the goat to make curry; it tastes like lamb used to years ago rather than the bland stuff you get nowadays! The biggest problem with it is that is very bony so not much meat but I've bought a Kg of it which hopefully will make enough curry for 3 meals for both of us.
Although the potatoes weren't cooked they did at least not charge us for them - in fact I don't think they charged me for my drink either as it was definitely less than I was expecting!

I can’t bear hard potatoes @joedenise glad they didn’t charge you. I’ve never had goat and the boney description doesn’t make me want to!!
Wow @bubbs that’s crazy about Lidl!
Work - well the two girls (42 and 21) are both very slim but chat about Botox, fillers and other beauty treatments. Both drink plain green tea 🤮 or bone broth. I offered them some apple but they refused!! I virtually inhaled my rice pot when I got home just after 3pm.
Have prepped the chicken for dinner so just having a sit down with my hook and yarn 😊

Hope your mouth has thawed out in time for dinner @Jellybaby.
Sorry to hear about your mum @Longwalker but I'm glad you managed an evening out with your friend.
Pleased you got some work @Coxy11 but you're right that money doesn't go very far when it comes to shopping especially for food.☹️ You must be missing your well stocked cupboards and freezers @bubbs.
Again, not in @bubbs' league but I got some YS bargains last night too. I called into our local Coop and got 2 packs of diced beef and 2 packs of prawns both heavily reduced and they let me use a voucher so 20% more came off.👍🏻They've just refurbished the shop and sent vouchers to all neighbouring roads so I thought I'd use it but surprised I had it off YS. I rarely go there becasue it can be expensive but worth taking a look every now and then.
I can understand you being disappointed having to take medication @milann but well done on using it as a wake up call. That's the great thing about SW, it's healthy.
Amazed you found a pub that does baked fish @joedenise , shame about the potatoes though.😠
Today's plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, blueberries (S), banana (F)
L- Spanish omelette and pickles (P,S,F)
D- Spaghetti Bolognese (P,S,F), HEA Parmesan

Morning,
Day off today and we are going to London mid-afternoon as it’s DS1’s birthday and we are eating out then going to the theatre. He doesn’t know and is popping round this morning, so we need to be canny.
I’ve checked out the restaurant - Steak and Lobster - looks like there’s a steak or grillled chicken with salad choice so I’m hoping for one of those.
I had a single rum n Pepsi max last night plus a couple of biscuits. Had only had 4 syns all day prior to that so within daily limit and enjoyed them.
I’m planning a run this morning before breakfast - will be a good start to my day and boost my steps.Food today:
B - maple SW pancake, 0% Greek yoghurt, sliced banana, satsumas - HEB, free, S
L - JP, tuna, mayo, salad leaves, pickles - 3, P, S
D - to be decided!
HEA - milk
Syns - at least 3

Morning all, another horrible wet day. Had a waxing appointment this morning and DH had physio appointment at the local hospital - appointments were both the same time so I dropped DH off at the hospital and then drove into town. After my waxing appointment I went to pick up my new glasses and pleased to say they have been reglazed properly this time!
Enjoy your afternoon and evening in London @Coxy11. Sounds like you'll be able to find a SW friendly meal without too much problem.
Today's plan:
B - scrambled eggs; 1 slice of toast -0.5 HEB; P
L - ham salad, pickles, slice of bread & LF speed - P; S; 0.5 HEB; 1.5
D - fish pie, green veg - P; S; F; 4
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - LF spread 1.5; cheese sauce mix 4
Have a good day everyone.

Thank you @beanielou. I'm really pleased with them now - pity they couldn't get them right first time round though!
My friend has just sent me a M&S gift pack - cakes, biscuits & chocolate; plus some coffee bags! I decided to have a piece of millionaires shortbread which I've worked out to be 12 syns so at least it's within syns!

Wow @bubbs , those before and after photos are amazing! He must feel so good about himself.👍🏼
I seem to be running around chasing my tail today so quick post. I did manage to get to WI and I'm calling it half a pound off (actually 0.8).
Obviously, we all want more and I want to get back to target ASAP but I'm holding my own between the meals out so I'll take it.
On plan today with 3 swips, 1 for LTL mayo and 2 for a Morrison's fishcake. Out for lunch tomorrow.
