I think you're probably right that the meal on Sunday affected your WI @Matron_Midge . STS isn't bad but 🤞🏼for a loss this week.

I really like the tinned kippers too @Longwalker but haven't had them in ages either. I usually buy the 'boil in the bag' ones (although we cook them in the microwave) and freeze them. Checking on the Sainsbury's website, I noticed that Princes mackerel is £1 with nectar.

I need to do my freezer inventory again too @Jellybaby . I do envy you both the friends who don't like fish.😋

I'm another who hates food waste, probably why we're all on mse!🤣 We're due to have a food caddy soon and I don't think there'll be much to go in it!

That's infuriating about your glasses @joedenise, seems worse somehow when they cost so much.

I was clearing a cupboard and found some tinned grapefruit in juice. I will eat it up at some point but can anyone tell me the swips and whether it's a Healthy Extra?🤔

    Today's plan-

    B- HEB porridge, HEA1 milk, blueberries (S), banana (F)

    L- LOs as yesterday (P,S,F)

    D- Spaghetti Bolognese (P,S,F), HEA 2 Parmesan

    Swips-0

@maman Hate too tell you its 1.5 swips for 100g :(

I think most canned fruit has swips

Yes I lifted a pile of the Princes mackerel the other week. Its rare I go to Sainsburys - next town - and Ive no need to go again for a while - shame

That's a sickener about the glasses @joedenise . Well done on the YS lamb, hope it was a good price. I went to lift a small ys half leg, which was still dearer then the whole legs at Christmas !! No more lamb till Easter me thinks

Like the rest of us , the wind and rain has been relentless since yesterday evening. Dodgy drive home, so much surface water, and the wind was so strong, the car was sliding . Still home in one piece - along with the half price stuffed and boned chicken :)

Im definitely going to have a gain this week. I had the sort of morning where I was wanting sweet food - yeah I skipped dinner last night and had a few - 3 - chocolates and a packet of crisp instead . So had my coffee and had two pears and two slices ( very thin ) of stilton which stopped me reaching for the sweets/ cakes/biscuits etc. Only two hours later Im hungry - and I know the stilton is open and oops - half the block and crackers seemed to have disappeared.

And I have moved off the sofa all day !!!

Hi everyone from a very wet and windyYorks. Flooding everywhere as the river has breached.

I’m plodding along quite well today. Had usual breaking, salad with chicken for lunch with some quark and flava drops for lunch and our tea will be one of our favourites 2CC’s Dan Dan noodles. I add peppers and edamame beans for a bit of extra volume. So yummy.

No snacks planned but I might have some cheese and crackers or a skinny bar (or both🤗) with 24 hours in custody this evening. I’ve not had my HE’s today.

Tomorrow I’m going to get my eyebrows waxed and tinted, do a food shop and I might even call at the mahoosive charity shop warehouse to see if they’ve got anything for my holiday - ideally linen trousers/dress or a shirt style cover up for if we get down to the pool.

Thoroughly engrossed in my book - Never Lie by Frieda McFadden - I will be checking out the book shelf in the charity shop for any more of her books as I’ve now read 3 and they are all really good.

Right,b half an hour with my book after we’ve cleared up after tea before I settle down with the telly box.

Morning all, dry today but still very damp outside so ended up drying the washing in the dryer again! Now all dried, folded and put away so that's out of the way for a few days!

Got a bit of a shock around 9am when the doorbell rings but wasn't expecting anyone but it was my hairdresser - I had it in my head that my appointment was next week - it wasn't, it was today so hair now looking a lot tidier! She couldn't believe how thick it had got since she cut it in December!

Agree with you @bubbs, those meals are definitely very small; suspect whoever eats that size of meal is likely to be one of those snacking between meals as they're "hungry" but don't even think it's because they haven't eaten a decent sized meal.

    Today's plan:

B - muffin; avocado; poached eggs - HEB; HEC; P

    L - Leek and potato soup - P; S; F

    D - braised steak, onions, peppers, mushrooms, mash, green veg - P; S; F

    HEA - milk

    HEB - muffin

HEC - avocado (have decided to call the oils/fats HEC, just continuing the alphabet!)

    Syns - none planned

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all,

@bubbs I’d need three or four of those meals for one dinner!
    @joedenise happy new haircut day

Well the weather is truly crazy. I have sunshine here so going for a walk shortly (salsa lady is on holiday) to make the most of it because who knows it could be snowing by teatime 🙄

    Today’s food:

Breakfast - cereal HEB, raspberries, protein yoghurt 2 syns

Lunch - crustless quiche, salad, pickles

Dinner - pasta bake, HEA cheese, DS making so chorizo syns TBC but have plenty in hand

    Have a good day everyone!

It's glorious sunshine here too. I can't believe that, when I went dancing last night, I drove through a hail/sleet storm.🤔

Although I didn't originally have enough for a machine load, DH asked if I'd wash his dressing gown so now it's all out on the line.😊

Some really good buys from Company Shop (AGAIN!) @bubbs. 👍🏼

Those tiny meals look like someone who's thinking of SW as a diet. I'm not even sure what they are but one looks suspiciously like breaded fish. What a waste of syns. I know I'd rather pig out on a large, balanced healthy meal.🐷

When I started SW @joedenise, I couldn't get my head around what As and Bs stood for. I settled on B was for Bread so the other must me the milk.

Thanks for the tinned fruit syns @Longwalker. I'd somehow got it into my head that grapefruit was different. I will eat it at some point but not until I'm well back in target.

My plan is to weight tomorrow morning before I go out for lunch. I don't feel as if I've lost this week but 🤞🏼I haven't gained because the eating out has caught up with me.

I'm counting the gravy tonight as free as it only had a tsp of cornflour in it for the HB recipe and this is left over from the freezer.

    Today's plan-

B- HEB toast, bacon, eggs (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk

L- Probably a JP with something and salad(P,S,F)

D- sausages, mash, gravy (F), cauli, broccoli, onions (S)

    Swips- BGTY sausages 2
