Morning all, these lower temperatures are much nicer aren't they? Don't mind 30s when I'm on holiday but not when it is as humid as it gets in the UK!
Sorry to hear your shoulder is giving you so much pain @bubbs but good that you finally got a decent night's sleep - it always catches up eventually when you get that exhausted. I'm still not sleeping well, just a couple of hours at a time, so never feel as though I've had a good sleep. I think it's just because my hand feels uncomfortable in the splint I've been given - the hand therapist had to cut slits into the thumb part of it to make it big enough and stretch the bit that goes around the rest of the hand as the next size up was enormous and wouldn't have supported anything as it was just so loose.
Good to see you @wilmaknickersfit. How are you doing? You're obviously still reading even if you're not posting! Don't think there's such a thing as lean lamb unless you mince your own lamb leg (steaks). It would be Swip free if substituted with 5% beef mince which of course is easily available at all SMs.
I had half a scone yesterday can someone let me know how many Swips this would have been please?
Today's plan:
B - scrambled eggs, toast - Fibre; P (forgot to get spinach out of freezer)
L - jacket potato, beans, salad - S; F
D - butter chicken, rice, naan, mango chutney - Fibre; P; S; F; 3Calcium - milk
Fibre - bread, naan
Swips - mango chutney 3Have a good day everyone.

Hi all,
Just on my way back from London as I met stepmom’s sister today to give her some bits I brought back from Cyprus. She treated me to lunch in Zizzi - I had a butter bean, tomatoes and cucumber salad. No dressing but did eat the two garlic sprinkled crusts as was starving. Now munching on an apple on the train.
Sorry to hear of interrupted sleep - nothing worse than not feeling rested.

We had some decent rain overnight too and was definitely fresher this morning although brightening/warming up (22°) now. Odd showers are still on the agenda but we'll see if they amount to anything.
Good to see you posting @Wilmaknickersfit and thanks for the recipe. I saw some marrows for sale in a local greengrocers at £1.79 for a decant size. I was going to suggest the same as @joedenise, minced beef would definitely be safer for keeping swips low.
The garlic crusts shouldn't do too much damage @Coxy11 as you haven't been having your full quota of swips on other days. I was curious where your 1 swip came from in yesterday's lunch. Was it in the pickled onions/gherkins? As you know, I eat loads of pickles and wouldn't want to be having hidden swips. 🤔
We're out to lunch tomorrow and have family coming on Friday. Tomorrow will depend on what's available on the restaurant menu. For Friday's lunch, I've decided to do lasagne and salad followed by fresh berries so while not perfect, probably better than another meal out which DH suggested. I know he is trying to save me work but I'm never going to get comfortably back to target if I keep straying.
Fortunately, I finished the bar of Lindt seasalt chocolate that DD gifted me earlier in the week and haven't been tempted since. 🤞🏼
Today's plan-
B- toast, eggs, bacon, tomatoes (fibre, P,S), milk for drinks (calcium1)
L- JP (F), chilli (P,S), salad (S)
D- bacon, mushroom and broccoli pasta (P,S,F), Parmesan (calcium2)
Swips- none planned0 -
@maman the 1 SWIP was an Aldi frozen JP. Good to plan some home cooked meals with the family coming. I must admit I was a bit worried today when P suggested zizzi but I think I chose well considering.
Food today:B - SW maple pancake, skyr apple yog, blueberries, satsuma - fibre, 0.5, S
L - zizzi butter bean, tomato and cumber salad, garlic crusts - will count 6 SWIPs for the crusts
D - ginger and soy salmon, rice, green beans - P, free, S
Calcium - milk
Fibre #2 - hi fi bar
SWIPS - 6.5

Hi All, yes I'm still here and enjoy reading your posts.
I've managed to get back to target and a couple of pounds below.
Our lovely consultant has left and we have a temporary one for 6 weeks. She says she doesn't plan anything! I thought they had to deliver certain messages/theme from HQ?
Tha lamb mince is 4 swips 100g of 20% fat and 2 swips 100g of 10% fat.
Have recently started pilates as have issues with hip and physio said ok to do it. Its very different from what I've done before as has a lot more standing exercises.

Thanks @Coxy11 for the scone Swips - not as bad as I'd thought.
Think you've decided the right thing with family coming to make something yourself rather than eating out as it's often difficult to find SW friendly things on restaurant menus.
Not expecting a loss this week as fairly sure I've been over Swips.
You've got some "nice" people where you live @bubbs! Can't believe some people's mentality!
We had some rain overnight which filled the water butts a bit and DH has filled up our 3 watering cans so they can refill tonight if we get the forecast rain. We've had a few showers today but nothing very much. More is forecast for tonight and tomorrow so fingers crossed the garden gets a good soaking.
Looking forward to getting away for a couple of days in the motorhome which is all packed apart from the food. Not sure if we're going tomorrow afternoon (DH has an appointment late morning at the hospital) or whether we'll leave it until Friday morning which is when I thought we were going to go but will make a decision tomorrow!
Right, it's time to do my final lot of hand exercises and then it'll be time for bed.
