Morning all,
Yippee to the rain @joedenise! Feels a smidge fresher but not a lot!
Yesterday’s clear up of Mums garden took ages. I filled 8 sacks, a trug and the base of a swing bin and still had to gather up the tarp I’d laid down as it was full of cuttings. Got home at 2:30pm. DH had forgotten to put the washing on during the free hour plus had chipped a ceramic I’d bought back from Cyprus. Grrrr. I had a duck and chicken sushi pack from Aldi which wasn’t great and cost me 3 SWIPs. Would not get again.
We dropped grand fur baby home and popped into ILs to discuss accommodation for the funeral next week. We have persuaded them that a cottage would be better than PI so have booked a place west of Lockerbie for Tuesday to Thursday.
I have an IV today at a charity shop in town. Will drop the rubbish to the tip after (yes @joedenise S’borne) then I’ll do a SW leaflet drop on the development where the class is held. We are watering at the allotment this evening and I’ll get some more produce 🙌🏻Food today:
B - spinach omelette, satsuma - P, S
L - WM roll, cheddar, red onion, apple - fibre, calcium, S
D - SW Italian meatballs and spaghetti - free
Calcium - milk
SWIPs - 2 x hi fi bar - 6

Hope the interview went well @Coxy11 and you're definitely doing well on the Body Magic with the leaflet drop as well as all the other exercise. 👍
We must have had all of 2 minutes of rain this morning @joedenise .🤣 Other than that, although it's ONLY 24 degrees it's felt hot and sticky all day.
Today's plan -
B- eggs, toast, mushrooms and tomatoes (P, fibre, S), milk for drinks (calcium 1)
L- LO chicken casserole (P, S, F)
D Spaghetti Bolognese (P, S, F), Parmesan (calcium 2)
Swips - none planned 🤞

Hallelujah - it’s rained most of the day and cooled right down here. Smells fresh!
Well done on all the losses everyone and I hope those of you suffering with aches, pains and surgery are starting to feel some relief.
I’ve weighed in this morning with a STS. Better than nowt but I’ve really stuck to it this week. Ho hum we shall just keep goingUsual breakfast of yoghurt and fruit, cheese and tomato sandwich for lunch (HE’s) and tea was chicken, couscous and salad. I used some Flava-it sprinkle on the chicken and it will be swips and also had some balsamic drizzle on the salad which I think is swips too. Nothing else planned though so I’m fairly sure it will be less than 15 swips.
My water butts have refilled a bit and when I got in I’ve only had to water up in the greenhouse - yay. I’ve picked cucumbers, tomatoes, French beans and courgettes so it will be a very speedy few days coming up.
Keep up the good work everyone.

Morning all, decidedly cooler this morning, thinking I may well have to wear trousers instead of shorts/skirts which I have been wearing for the last few months! Still needing to wear elasticated waist stuff as can't do up buttons one handed!!!
Hope the volunteering goes well on Monday @Coxy11 and you enjoy it. I thought about volunteering when I retired but decided against it as we go away too often so wouldn't be able to commit as much as needed!
Sounds like a nice load of veg and good to be able to share with. your mum and sister. Love pardon peppers but of course they really need to be fried so not particularly SW friendly so only have them when on holiday.
Today's plan:
B - porridge, mixed berries - Fibre; S
L - ham salad - P; S; F
D - lamb tagine, couscous - Fibre (apricots/almonds); P; S; FCalcium - milk
Fibre - oats; apricots/almonds
Swips - none planned but may have a lolly later if I fancy itHave a good day everyone.

Well done on your STS @beanielou and @Matron_Midge . 👍🏼
Sticking to plan (and sadly straying off it too☹️) invariably catches up @Matron_Midge but not always in the first week. 🤞🏼for your next WI.
What about you @beanielou , do you know where your STS came from?🤔
Another great haul of fresh produce @Coxy11 and enough to share as well. Hope you enjoy volunteering, a very worthwhile thing to do.☺️ I was only commenting to DD yesterday how popular CSs have become with everyone. Aside from the environmental bonus from recycling and raising cash for charities, it's a nice bit of retail therapy for very little outlay.
The elasticated waists reminded me of when DH broke his wrist a couple of years ago @joedenise . I persuaded him to buy an elasticated pair of trousers and it was so helpful. Not only couldn't he do up is own buttons but I found it really tricky to do them up on someone else as everything is backwards from the wrong angle IYSWIM.
It's coolish (24°) and overcast here with a slight breeze. We had another few minutes of rain but it's so short and light that It won't even be enough to water the plants.
Today's plan-
B- toast, eggs, bacon, baked beans (fibre, P,F), milk for drinks (calcium)
L- as yesterday LO chicken casserole with pickles (P,S,F)
D- salmon (P), SW chips (F), cauli steak, green stuff, mushrooms, tomatoes (S)
Swips- none planned0 -
I'm really glad that I'd made some elasticated waist skirts, trousers and shorts earlier in the year - they are really coming into their own at the moment. It's likely to be at least 3 months before I'll be able to do up buttons! No way would DH be able to do buttons up on my trousers - he can't even manage them easily when we change the duvet cover - he usually does one or 2 and I do the rest. He's had to do them all this week we we changed the bed this week! He just looks so awkward doing them up though!
We had a short shower earlier when we were on our way home from shopping but not enough to do anything. We're forecast 24/25 today but it isn't up to that yet!

Hi all,
I too am in trousers today - linen with a nice elasticated waist! And I don’t have any injuries!
I did some more leafletting this morning, dropped the veg at Mums and went to Faversham for some yarn. Have also had a catch up with BFF.
Food today:B - 50g bran sticks, 150g apple yoghurt, blueberries - fibre, 0.5, S
L - JP, baked beans, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, radish, pink pickled onions, pickled onions, gherkins - 1, free, S
D - FB SW Mo paprika chicken, tender stem broccoli - P, free, calcium, S
Calcium - milk
SWIPs - 1.5 plus hi fi bar 3 = 4.5 total

Bit late but I have an old WW recipe using marrow/courgette which I have only just tracked down! Is there a way to add a photo?
