Real life getting in the way of posting but I’ve tried to read when I can. Slept in this morning but made group by the skin of my teeth - 1lb off. I don’t know if it’s psychological or the collagen powder is making the difference but I definitely don’t feel as hungry as I usually do. I’m going with it though while it lasts!

The weather, whilst a lot milder, is back to constant rain. I’m in the process of drying DS2’s work clothes and a load of towels on the airers.

Food wise, breakfast was a bacon roll with mushrooms and tomatoes and dinner is my favourite meatballs in tomato sauce with spaghetti and Parmesan 😁

Morning all, the weather is atrocious today! Non stop rain - from very light to some heavy showers. According to the forecast it's in for the day but dry again tomorrow - so another load of washing will get done then as it's then forecast to rain every day for the next week!

You were brave @Coxy11 tackling the M25/A3 on the way to picking up your DDad and then the South Circular on the way back. I used to live near the South Circular so used it quite often (or rather DH did!) - it was always horrendous. Hope your DDad's visit is good, particularly as you think it's probably his last visit to the UK. How long is he staying for?

Today's plan:

B - sausage sandwich (was supposed to be bacon & mushroom but I forgot to buy bacon!) - fibre, 3.5
L - jacket potato, beans, cheese, salad - Calcium; S; F
D - butter chicken, rice - P; S; F; 2.5

Calcium - milk; cheese
Fibre - bread
Swips - sausages 2; LF spread 1.5; butter 2.5

1lb loss today, then went to do parkrun, just realised it was my 50th parkrun too! I just concentrated on running it all not the time today.

Morrisons have the seriously spreadable for 89p at the moment, we mix it with tuna for pitta pockets, and OH likes it on a bagel with an egg on top

Morrisons is cheaper than Tesco for the seriously spreadable - may well pick up another couple this week to add to couple I bought this week. They always have a good long date on them.

I was particularly pleased, as well as the meal out with friends on tuesday, we went to the beach thursday and then ate out, I tried to choose wisely, salmon (removed the skin) sticky rice and some chilli sauce, with lots of salad, no desert and drank a diet cola

I didn't know that about the skin on salmon @bubbs . I always bake my salmon at home in a parcel but when it's pan fried and crisp it would be nice.

It's the same here @joedenise , rain on and off all day and even when it 'stops' there's a fine mist.☹️

What is reindeer horn supposed to do @Coxy11 ? That's a new one on me. When I googled I got loads of pictures of antlers!

Not very good planning today as both breakfast and dinner have beans and bacon but at least there's a gap in between.

D- sausage casserole with penne (P,S,F)

Well done @bubbs on your loss this week. It's about time after your unexpected gains.

My menu planning hasn't been brilliant for this weekend and beginning of next week! We had beans for lunch today, we'll be having more tomorrow with a fry up for breakfast and then again Monday evening for dinner! I wouldn't mind if I actually liked the bloody things - I only buy them because DH really loves them so I just have some as well!

I generally cook salmon in a parcel too @maman and find the skin sticks to the foil even with spraying it first!
