    Hi all,

A STS for me which is fine but means I’m still way over target. We are away to the Highlands for walking/family time from Thursday so my meals will be eating out for dinner and self catering for breakfasts. Meals until then are planned and shopped for.

    Food today:

    B - satsuma, spinach omelette - S, P

L - WM roll, 1.5 slices of chilli cheddar, apple, bag of sunbites - fibre, calcium, S, 4.5

D - SW beef stroganoff, boiled rice - free

    Calcium - milk

    SWIPs - Single Twirl 6 plus 4.5 = 10.5

I too dislike the chattering in group - so disrespectful of the leader and others sharing their journeys.

    Have a good evening everyone.

Sorry you weren’t up to going to group Beanie. I’m sure you’ll have a loss whether you’re there or not.. Did you go back to the same group you went to a while back or find a different group.
Bubbs I’m sorry about your bil. It sounds as if he’s in the best hands though. There are some clever doctors out there and it sounds as if he has one. I’m pleased your physio changed the prescription from naproxen…..I was on them the 1st time I had a bowel perforation and needed a stoma followed by a reversal and then doc put me back on them many years later and the same thing happened again - this time it’s permanent…..and I can no longer take anti inflammatory meds.
I messaged my gp at 3 pm this afternoon about a tummy related problem I’ve had before. I had a face to face appointment at 5 pm. Ok….it was a GP I hadn’t seen before and I could only just understand her accent..but I’m more than a tad deaf too - but she was lovely, examined me and gave me the prescription recommended by the hospital for when things flare up as they do from time to time.
Life has been bit mad here….we've been sorting the house ready to put on the market. Done enough painting to make it look ok without going overboard and doing work that somebody will move in and the do their own thing. Anyway we’ve had 2 estate agents out to value today and got another tomorrow. We’re going to dds over Easter and will hopefully get so see some bungalows now we know what sort of prices we can afford. This move is getting very real now 😳😀
Last week we went to Berwick on Tweed in a static caravan….we left Millie Motorhome at home and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. We ate out some of the time and enjoyed eating in the van some of the time. Were playing with the idea of selling Millie for more cash towards a bungalow……verdict is still out on that.

I’ve weighed myself several times since my last visit here and again have stayed the same overall….still 2 lb to go to get to my next stone. At least I know how to maintain my weight….just need it down by 1 1/2 stone then I can put my maintenance expertise into practice 😂👍

  • Hi All, spotted something on a Facebook group that might help. I previously found a really helpful ebook and I think this is the same one. It was called 'Life After Ozempic' on Amazon, and had a red cover with a weird fork and syringe on the front. I think the post said it was going to be free for the next day or two, worth checking if you are interested.

Morning all, weather not so nice as yesterday morning but at least it's dry. Bedding has been washed and now out on the line. Will need to remake the bed later but having a coffee now and then will get ready to go shopping! I need veg and pleased to see that Morrisons have reduced some of their veg to the same price as Aldi - potatoes and onions are both on the list and now only 4p a bag! Will get at least a couple of bags of each as always needed and will get used. Have also run out of eggs and guess what's for lunch? Right omelettes! I've only got 2 eggs so would be very thin omelettes for 2 of us!!!

It's my birthday today but not doing anything special as obviously need to save some money for our holiday in a couple of weeks time!

Have reported the post above as Spam - a new poster and absolutely nothing to do with SW!

Things look to be moving in the right direction with regard to you moving @milann. I would think twice about selling the motorhome though as being in the South you'll be very near the ports for going across to France where motor homing is really easy and much cheaper than the UK! You are welcomed in virtually every village and town and can quite often stay for nothing or just a few Euros. We do a couple of trips each year for a month at a time and it's not much more expensive than staying in this country for that time and includes eating out a few times.

    Today's plan:

    B - bacon & mushroom sandwich - Fibre; P; S; 1.5
    L - cheese omelette, chips - Calcium, P; F
    D - lemon chicken & garlic traybake - P; S; F

    Calcium - milk, cheese
    Fibre - bread
    Swips - LF spread

    Have a good day everyone.
