Just catching up. Last week was full on. I'm getting pressure that some things I'm doing aren't progressing, and I've had to remind people that they aren't progressing because people aren't reviewing and signing it off! I seem to spend half my life chasing people. I've been very stressed and grumpy over the last couple of weeks, along with associated comfort eating.
I did have a nice jolly to the big smoke the other day where 3 projects I have been involved with were up for awards. Sadly they didn't win, but it was a lovely day anyway.
I haven't been feeling great, and think that (along with the stess) it's the poor diet. I definitely can't eat how I used to which can only be a good thing. I gained 3lb this week which is probably well deserved. I did take myself off to the seaside on Friday and have had a quiet weekend. I'm back on it now.
I've got a short week this week as little jwil has a hospital appointment on Thursday. I think he's having the pins removed but I wasn't expecting that for a few months yet, so I'm not sure. I wish they'd put something on the appointment letter. Both kids have had random appointments sent through recently and I have had no idea what they are for! At least then it's half term and the long weekend. I'm only working 2 days next week thankfully.

omg that first paragraph could have come straight out of my own mouth! so I feel your pain! Its important to remind yourself that you are doing everything you can and that nothing is an "emergency" as much as management might like to think it is.
enjoy your days off during half term :)

I'm sorry you have to deal with it too. It's so frustrating and the bit I hate about my job!

Morning @jwil, glad the car boot sale went well. I had to G00gle 3o day shred, sounds intense, go you! Have you tried F@bulous 50's on Y0utube? There are lots of workouts to choose from and the lady is very encouraging. Don't be put off by the title. I like her walking workouts, which also include strength, mind and balance exercises.

I haven't done any more of the shred 😂 Thanks for the recommendation, I'll look up that. It sounds good!
