My additional PAD this morning is due to my 'save the change' account reaching £25 so I sent it to PBs. I did debate on sending it to the car instead, but thought I'd try and put some savings back after withdrawing them.
I'm probably not going to go to the coast, and just chill at home. I've got little jwil's bedding in the wash, and I might just do some stuff around the house and garden. If it was sunny I'd probably have gone like a shot!
DH's car was in the garage this week, but the fault may not be resolved so it might need to go back again. That's DH's fault as he agreed to part of the work but not all that was recommended as he wanted to see if it would resolve the issue. He can deal with that though!

Thank you so do I 😁

I wavered back and forth this morning, but decided not to go to the coast in the end. I did spend some time sitting in the sun in the garden so that was nice.
I spent some time in little jwil's bedroom. That was fun! I have a big pile of clothes to go though and a shopping list of things he needs.
I've caught up on some surveys as well, and popped out to get a bit of shopping.
DH was sitting in his car earlier with the window open and a bird managed to poo on him through the window 😂 He was not impressed! I told him to make sure he's bought a lottery ticket.

I'm not a sun worshipper by any means, but isn't it lovely when there starts to be enough warmth from the sun to go out & enjoy sitting on a garden bench? It is very mood-lifting after Winter, I always think.
2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
2) To read 50 books (12/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!2 -
It's such a boost isn't it, it's lovely. My mood definitely improves when it's sunnier and warmer!

Happy Saturday! I've had a couple of positive comments about my outfit today which is nice (nothing special, just bootcut jeggings and a floral t-shirt) but it's me trying to get away from so much black, and it brightens my mood, and isn't swamping me in acres of fabric either. So that's a nice start to the day 😊
Maintained this week at SW which is annoying, but probably better than deserved as I did have a couple of very moody days where I ate all of the chocolate in the universe.
DH wants to do a boot sale today, and although I can't really be bothered, I want to encourage the decluttering so will go along. The bonus is it's at the coast, so I'll be able to have a glimpse of the sea beforehand 😁

Boot sale done yesterday and we did quite well. Nothing for me, but I don't think I really had anything there - maybe a book! Little miss did quite well but was itching to spend her sales as soon as they were coming in 😆 Some more stuff gone though and DH did alright.
Quiet day planned today. I went old school this morning and did the first day of 30 day shred. I couldn't be bothered to go out. I can feel it!
