Uncharacteristically I got straight into action this morning and arranged for someone to do a quote for the kitchen. He's coming on Wednesday!! It felt good to get a mega-frog done first thing.
I also phoned the support line for my no longer functioning power-washer & the company agreed a return so dropped that off at Argos this afternoon when DS got back from his festival.
It was lovely to see him. I was happy to have a few days to myself but was ready to have him back today. I got straight onto it with his washing - clothes, sleeping bag all washed & dried and tent hung out to air. This sunny weather makes everything like that so much easier.
Carried on clearing the garden before dinner and have conked out now I've eaten …. I've got a really quiet work week so hopefully I will get more done over the next few days.

I was on ironing duty at my son's house - I love ironing.
Lots of people kept visiting. My daughter is back from Italy and has offered me a lift to Nottingham on Sunday. I told my youngest daughter to stay at her brothers until after the funeral director's appointment tomorrow.
Today I took a bag of donations to the charity shop then went to catch a bus. I went to the wrong side of the road for the bus to Ald. I took a bag of soft plastics to Ald. I got some more strawberries and the English cherries were on offer.
I came home for lunch then went out again - done nearly 9000 steps today.
I went to Matal.. for black trousers - got some for my bestie too .I went in the exit door at Dunhel. - collected the suitcase I had ordered. My mind is all over the place. I have a cold sore - get them when stressed or run down. Also had a headache this evening - not something I suffer from usually.
I had a phone message from F - they need a new peg bag. I have found some pvc fabric but can't find a teflon foot for the sewing machine.
A woman on holiday from the US called here on Tuesday - gave me a card. Mr F helped her brother. When I opened the envelope - there was £500 in £20 notes. That has come in very handy.
I may go back to Nottingham before Sunday - nothing to stop me going. I couldn't have rushed off if Mr F was still here - I couldn't leave him and it would have been almost impossible to take him with me.

Good Morning!
I've managed to fully use 3 items up so now they've gone into recycling! I keep seeing an add on Tiktok for skincare which I dont need and ive added it to my basket and if I still feel like I want it by Friday ill buy it but im also trying to make myself not spend on unnecessary items!
I slept pretty good, I was so tired yesterday I was in bed by 8pm. I didn't go swimming yesterday I didnt have the energy, I plan on going after work today.. I finish at 3 so will be swimming around by 3.45!

MMorning
I have managed to do some bits, took a couple of photos for vinted and listed one of them. I seem to collect receipts so went through them and kept the ones I needed and recycled the others.
I also put some general waste in the bins.
I've sold 4 items on vinted they will be posted today.
Think that's everything for now

Made good progress on sorting more cards and letters but not quite finished - hopefully today. Scrap paper pile has increased in size which is great as will need to write lots of lists in coming weeks. Friend on way to collect books and will take to NT on way home. Had planned to clear out a few more yesterday but brain wouldn’t make decisions.
Sorted out bottles on edge of bath so will be emptied in order rather than what I fancy that day! Need to be practical whilst preparing for a move, lol.

Hi all, been missing again, sorry 😁.
The wedding was lovely, beautiful place, the food was lovely but the service was slow which meant the children got restless waiting for their food after having sat patiently through the speeches but were generally well behaved with occasional walks outside with a parent or grandparent 😁. Our room was in a converted stable and was nice except for not having any windows which freaked me a bit as I have a habit of checking for fire exits after working in fire fighting chemicals for several years. The room was also quite warm and even though there was a fan there was no where for the warm air to go so although the bed was very comfortable neither of us got much sleep. We came away shortly after breakfast and were home by lunch time. I made a cuppa and went to bed being at the stage of feeling like a dead duck.
Saturday was OH's birthday so we had a meal out at our fav Greek and managed to use a voucher we had got as a Christmas present so win win 😁
Over the past couple of days I have got back into it and have done reasonably ok.. Banking done, 2 sessions of ironing, trip to the bag wash and 4 LDFPA, cardboard box recycled, bedroom bin, kitchen recycling, dead pen , birthday card, wrapping and gift bag used from stash, frog sorted, bathroom overstock uu, 400 emails permanently deleted, kitchen bin and 3 bags from the conservatory binned.
I have spoken to the builder and he is sending a man with a damp meter to check the kitchen walls next week so we might be making some progress there 😁. I have wasted hours this morning trying to access the nhs app to check on an appointment I am waiting on. I gave up in the end because I wouldn't allow cookies or let it link to my gp records it wanted several passwords and security codes to both my email address and my phone and then wanted to set up facial recognition so could I send a photo. No enough! I will phone them later after I have had some lunch 😂. I have also had a union thing land so that will be sorted hopefully this afternoon.I
@Florenceem so sorry to hear about your gs, big hugs

@Florenceem I have no words I can think of; all I can do is send love to you and your family. 💕
Nothing much has been done here for the last few day despite the cooler weather and my desire to fill all the garden waste bags ready for Thursday.
I've no idea exactly when what or how I did it but I've pulled a muscle(s) on the right side of my neck and I have been in pain since Sunday afternoon and living on painkillers. 😞Today is a slight improvement I can move my head up and down slightly but turning left or right is impossible. Lying down is difficult, the weight of my head causes so much pain as does bending forward to pick anything up or put something in the dishwasher etc. and even lifting my right arm to reach for anything is too much.
DS1 thankfully had a day off today so he was able to come over and take me to the vets to pick up some meds for my senior cat Jewel and then we called into Mr L as I was just about out of milk and to restock with ibuprofen. I now have enough supplies for me to last through to next week.
As a result of the pain I'm feeling rather sorry for myself at the moment as even sleeping is difficult as I need to support my neck/head in order to lie down or even move in bed. But as I said, I feel that there is a slight improvement today so next round of painkillers have been taken and I'm going to take it easy.
I know that there's lots of things I wanted to comment on but nothing is sticking in my mind at the moment apart from how uncomfortable I feel. So my respect to all those in chronic pain as I know there are many on this thread who deal with this day in and day out.
Hugs to those who would like and love to you all. Hopefully normal service will be resumed here before too long. 😁 Dxx
