Morning!

Today's breakfast is fruit loaf with chocolate spread with a Victoria sponge cake tea again didn't taste of much.

Not much going on today, going to meet a friend for coffee and a look around m&s after work and thats about it

1. Daily To Do List - written the night before
2. Sort out sleep patterns - initial targets: bed by 03:00, up by 10:30
3. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc.
4. Commence ‘Operation Financial Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
5. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
6. Plan & Execute ONE Major Project - 2026 New Bathroom
7. Target 2026 items out

Tuesday started dull & cloudy with the sun not appearing until 13:00 although still warm with a forecast high of 29°C, low of 17°C & a NE wind shifting to ENE - but only an occasional breath of air. Re the fridge pong DH discovered a potential source - some ood chicken which he binned 👏The smell is nowhere near as bad now but I will be giving it a thorough cleaning later when the weather cools down.  DH drove DSis to her Tuesday appointment & then went to MrS for a small shop. Whilst he was out I dealt with my mail, then vacuumed downstairs - only needed to empty once 😊 Then spent 15 minutes removing hair from the rollers. DSis got back 16:20. Spent the afternoon napping & watching TV. Dinner was oven chips, eggs & beans for DH & me whilst DSis had corned beef with her chips & beans. Wudupa

1150 - 1155 Kitchen recycling, newspaper, 2 cardboard boxes, paper packaging, drinks cans - recycled 

1156 - 1158 Kitchen, lr & DSis bedroom detritus - binned

Morning all,

BlueJ94 - As a Salvation Army soldier - part of the covenant I signed is to refrain from offensive language. I don't appreciate the mug.

I plan to finish sorting items from the airing cupboard today.

Decluttered yesterday - 16 pillowslips, fabric, curtains x 4, skirt, child's jumper, dress, 2 fleece blankets, colour catcher, 2 x tee shirt, bed valance, trousers, pair of socks, child's jumper, fleece jacket and a pair of jogging bottoms.

Hi all, fell asleep last night before reporting progress . A goodish day but I was knackered with the heat in the conservatory 😁. 2 bags of gubbins binned or recycled. Cleared behind the washing machine where a whole pile of things had accumulated including 3 tubs of citrus food, 4 combs, a shoe bag, 2 small saw things and a plastic bag plus bits of gubbins. Then I took outside a 2 draw unit next to the washing machine and 2 fold up laundry hamper things. In the draws I found a box of colour catcher that had gone solid, various bits of fittings and old bits for the washing machine, an empty laundry liquid bottle and numerous washing powder scoops. Lots binned / recycled and useful stuff put where it is stored for now so I know where it is. The draw unit was washed down and the floor swept although I do need to pull the washing machine out further as a packet of seeds seems to have scattered itself under there but I was too hot by then to do it then. The dust sheets have been bagged up and put away. The fold up laundry hamper things were washed but looking at them I think they will be binned as they are ripped but I need to remove the fabric from their frames. A water carrier bag for camping was cleaned up and another bag thing OH kept for using to carry water for the car. A silk rose was washed but couldn't be saved. A baseball cap and a cloth face mask were washed and dried.

OH called in just as I was heading out to the sm for bits and I ended up with a list from OH as well. Picked up a couple of iced coffees and when I got back I made OH go through the pile of stuff I had put aside for OH to look at. OH then told me how useful the water bag for the car could be if kept in the boot. I said take it then as I am not going to put it in my car but it's still here 🙄.

After tea I watched the footy and fell asleep on the couch 😂

Today I am going to the bag wash with the bedding. It will dry on the line 😁. Then back to the conservatory.

Thank you for your good wishes for Mr V. He is still very stiff, his thigh and stomach are a very deep purple and his other knee is very sore.He seems to have slipped on some gravel, put his hand out on a plant pot to steady himself and he and it fell off onto a pile of bricks, narrowly missing a cast iron table. Luckily he has plenty of padding to cushion the fall.

A lovely time was had baby sitting. I must say a baby is the perfect accessory for people talking to you. Even better than being out with a cute dog.😂 We are just getting the hang of baby wrangling as our stint is coming to an end.The weather being easier is a big help in being out and about. Dil will be continuing the consulting at a special school next year but baby will be in nursery with his brother by then.It has been a lovely time for us and the grandchildren.Sadly Dil's Mum passed last year and her Dad isn't up to baby sitting such young children atm.

Nothing decluttered but I am going to knock spots off in the garden this afternoon.My friend is coming to strim the back lawn. I am not bothered by it one bit, but she is.😂 I want to fill a builders bag with the lilac forest. Mr V is too stiff to help. The front garden has still not been completely dug over, perhaps later when the sun is off it. I must say a couple of hours digging weed roots out doesn't get you very far.

Liverpool Anne, you are going great in your conservatory. You and lovely neighbour will be able to take coffee there in inclement weather. Fingers crossed for some inclement weather, I can't wait for some rain.

After work I also plan on picking up some christmas bits im going to look in tkmax and see if theyve got any bargains I can get!

Decluttered the gas and electric meter reads. I used to do them and then DH took over. I have just realized that we have had estimated reads for the last 10 months! Sent them in today and they are roughly where they estimated them anyway but at least we will know where we are. Electricity was a bit higher and I thought I was being a bit more careful. We were away for 5 weeks in January as well. I will have to keep an eye on it.

Also finally finished scrubbing decking. Yeah!!! Hopefully won't need doing for another couple of years. Next job coat in anti slip stuff which I have in a sealed tin in the shed as I bought too much last time. Counting as another one.

Half way through the year and half way through my target. 🙂

Started a new job that didn't have any mugs so I happily supplied them with 6! Still doesn't look any different in that cupboard!
