I finished the airing cupboard. Packed my shopping trolley with books and cds - which my usual shop doesn't take. Went to the hospice shop where the manager and assistant manager know about Mr F. There was a woman on the till today - worked at the shop for ages - she asked me if I had left Mr F at home. It really threw me.
I got a bus to the station to try and sort out my tickets to Nottingham. Very nice chap in the ticket office - I play the helpless old lady very well. Chap gave me a phone number - I tried it when I got home - wasn't recognised. I went online and managed to find the booking number. I had lunch then went back to the station and got the tickets. I decided to do a shop to last me well into next week. I got on a bus to go home and was immediately offered a seat. I do feel that losing Mr F has aged me.
I need to go and visit family but would rather be at home. I feel closer to my memories of Mr F when I am in his house.

@Willowtree222 we kondoed our mugs when i moved in with my current husband. We took about 50 to my office. I worked in the water industry so mostly engineers. Was really funny watching them walk round with floral mugs or novelty ones.

I decluttered a back tooth on Monday. We knew it was coming. I had an emergency appointment with my dentist who said it had to go. Well what a palaver. I think he had every tool in his toolbox in my mouth. The tooth kept breaking away. The cracking and crunching was making me jump. Fortunately it came out in the end. The dentist said to take it easy, but we go ballroom dancing on a Monday so i was careful.
Our dentist has an interesting story. He is a Ugandan asian and came here in the 1970s when he was a small child. My father in law was the Chief Exec at Peterborough City Council. The Council decided they would house 50 Ugandan families. So my father in law had to rustle up some houses! After my father in law died in his late 80s our dentist told me the story and that he always remembered him kindly. Our dentist is such a lovely kind man.
I have been working on the garage of doom today and have piled up a load of stuff for the tip tomorrow including 6 bottles of antifreeze. I have no idea why we have so much. I also decluttered quite a lot of skin on a ladder. Disappointing.18 -
Now im wondering what the mug said. I missed it! 😂
I didn’t go out tonight as I have had a cold, but I’m glad I cancelled as I forgot about the World Cup! Come on England!

Window fitters, four today arrived at 8am to put in my French doors and a new back door leaving by noon, my ironing pile was done early before it got too hot.
I 'found' a large bag of stuff behind the sofa! Soipulked that out and recycled / threw away about 75% of it the rest has been put in its correct homes. My magazine rack by the side of my chair contained everything apart from magazines or papers, I emptied it and put the items away, throwing away a small amount and the rack, which is very hold and misshapen after my last cat (Fatcat) use to sleep in it.
Airing cupboard was tided, four old kitchen hand towels have been put in a pile for the vet,I've a couple of old towels upstairs which I'll fish out and add. Three tea towels were added to the textile pile for the tip.
Appointment booked for the tip next Thursday. Dining room Curtains added to the textile pile along with some old curtains kept for Justin!

😂😂 I did the same! I took about 10 into work and the cupboard is still overflowing!
Fab bargains, @BlueJ94
Had a lazy day today - I've twinged something in my mid back area and it's very sore - will need painkillers for sleep, I think. I managed some 'pruning' and sorting a cupboard in the kitchen and the cupboard in DS3's gaming room
