@Mrs_Salad_Dodger please look after your self.
I have had a very productive day. DH sorted his underwear and sock drawers and I have done mine. I also tidied my wardrobe and cupboard above it. Then went on to 2 chest of drawer units in bedroom . I have got 2 hardly worn jackets and one dress that was worn once. I cant decide if I will ever wear them or if I need to sell them. They have gone back into wardrobe for a while whilst I think but otherwise I have been ruthless. I also discovered today that DH has sorted his record and CD collection that are in the cupboard under the television. He did it weeks ago.

Wednesday2000 - my airing cupboard needs a good sort out.
I moved all the decorating stuff into the garage.
Cross with Royal Mail - they said they tried to deliver - no one in - I have been here all day. No one rang the bell! Amazo. and Evr. rang the bell and I answered the door to accept parcels. I have bought 2 see through mats for under my swivel chairs on the laminate.
We had hail this afternoon.
Had a phone call - my furniture is arriving tomorrow so I had to reschedule my blood test. It will be 6 weeks and a day since ordering. It will be good to get my clothes out of black sacks.
Two people have asked about the sewing machine I am giving away - one wanted to come and have a look! This is not a shop to come looking - either you want something or you don't. He won't be getting the machine.
A day indoors and have felt very sad today - miss my Mr F so much. Nearly 3 months from when he was admitted to hospital.

what is it with our airing cupboards? I gave mine a really good Decluttered a while back and thought it was done and finished. Now I’ve got to do it again. I think my biggest issue is location. It’s at the end of the upstairs landing over the stairs. You have to stand and turn left to face it. That’s the problem. I’m thinking of moving the contents of the medicine drawer unit down to the drawer unit in the hall and moving the big totes with DHs clothes in over so I don’t have to squiggle and squirm to reach the airing cupboard shelves. I’m not a bendy Wendy.
Also got to wrap mums birthday presents and get them in the post, she will be 104 next week bless her. I spoke with her today - she’s very confused and sounded very frail. Was saying to DH it makes me sad that the staff caring for her only see her as she is now, they never saw the spirited and robust lady she was. They never saw her dressed so smartly just to go to the shops, they never saw her dancing or papering a ceiling. I have a poem called Crabbit Old Woman that was given to me when I first started working for Social Services; the ending says “So open your eyes, nurse, open and see, Not a crabbit old woman, look closer- See Me”.
Been wintery here today, the wind felt like ice. DFriend said it had been sleeting this afternoon. Glad I had a thick cardigan on.Hope everyone’s days gone well. Have a good night, sweet dreams xx

I hope you feel better soon, @Mrs_Salad_Dodger x
A little more decluttering has been done here since my last post, since odd things have managed to find their way to the CS / bin / elsewhere, as appropriate. Today it was a pile of paperwork - some family history research that I've been doing for someone else. Not paid work as such, but he bought me two large coffees and a lunch of very good eggs benedict with smoked salmon at the garden centre in the village where his mum and aunt used to live 😃

Feeling a lot better & would like to thank everyone for their kind get well wishes 😊 DH cooked cheesy pasta for us, whilst DSis made herself poached eggs on toast.
