@yorkie1 yes probably but obs i had given it a good clean.
I still worry about the carpets in the house because we had to repeatedly scrub them and carpet vax them. They looked ok by the end but when they lift them i suspect the underlay will have a tale to tell.

Morning all.
I took an extra 10mg tablet last night. I had a better night - just bathroom visits and no pain.
I did feel a tad dopey when I got up.
Chilly morning here. I am hopeful about getting the bin - which has stood there for 6 weeks - emptied today. I have put a black sack next to it in the hope the men will take that as well. I still have 2 full, heavy black sacks in the garage so the bin will not be empty for long.
I plan to pop to SA to return a book I borrowed from a friend.

Sorry to hear you have not been too good Floss.xx
Good that you managed a night without pain Florenceem.x
Very pleased to hear you have had no more funny turns Mrs SD. You know that if it ever happens again you mustn't ignore it. Says the woman who has tried to ignore health stuff for years! Do as I say , not as I do!😎
A top of mine, the wrong length for me to the chazzer. I will drop off today some Easter decorations and a big framed picture. I just can't find anywhere for it to go.
Binned some very past it fake Easter carrots. Gave some little jam jars away.
Mr V has bought a second hand ikea shoe cupboard for his extensive trainer collection. He is so proud of them , he likes to leave them all over the house for me to admire. This means the bookcase from the hall has come upstairs into the big spare bedroom. I need to put everything back on it before we go for my knee x rays. Need these to take with me to the consultant. No time frame for that.
I am not keen on the colour of the small bedroom emulsion paint. It is more royal blue than navy blue. It has been my experience recently that none of the paint I have chosen have been what I was expecting. It will have to do. The carpet is being fitted on Monday.
Better crack on Vx

vulpix - I have been blessed so far that I love the paint colours I have chosen.
I popped to SA to return the borrowed book.
I have checked that I have a book to read on Monday as I shall be sitting on the bed reading while the new laminate is laid downstairs.
J came round and lifted the boxed night table on top of the chest of drawers - means I can move on the landing. J also unpacked the chest of drawers for my bedroom. He sorted out the cardboard and polystyrene that was on the drive.
I have asked J to come here tomorrow to help builder J take the sewing machine to it's new home.
I was so happy to see a bin lorry outside my house - my bin which hadn't been emptied for 6 weeks is empty! They also took the black sack of rubbish that I had put by the bin.
Off for a blood test this afternoon. Forecast is for rain.

I had to wait a long time for a bus so got to my blood test appointment 3 minutes late. People were sitting there and I was the first name called.
Afterwards I went to shop at Lid. - put my stuff through in two lots so I could get my free vegetable - piccolo tomatoes. After paying for my shopping - got a voucher for half price creme eggs so went through the out door and back in the shop to get a yummy mixed pack - I love white chocolate.
Wet end to the day.

@BlueJ94 I had come to the same conclusion about myself. However this year I am focused on storage. I have been trying to clear stuff out and only been counting what goes. I have now changed my mindset to, If I havnt got storage for it I have to get rid of it or something else to make room. I am also looking at what we need to make the room I am working on look better. For example our bedroom has a miss match of second hand cupboards all at different heights. Even when cleared these make the room look messy. I have seen 2 sets of drawers that I really like with more storage than the 3 I have now and will order soon. Also in the kitchen diner that always looks messy the divider strips have come unstuck from the French doors. When they are back in place everything will look less messy. It seems to be working for me so far anyway. Our house feels more efficient and cozy. Also what used to take a day of both of us cleaning like mad to make it all tidy for visitors now takes a couple of hours at the most and that includes making beds.

Soontobeoap - sounds like you have a tidy house now.
When I looked in my back garden today - there was an aerial laying on the ground. I spoke to my neighbour - it wasn't from her roof. When I looked at my roof - it does look like something is missing - there is a stand with nothing on it. I just hope it didn't cause any damage when it fell. I will have to ask my neighbour at the back if I can go in her garden to look at the roof. I have moved the aerial to the front paving.
Decluttered - hairdryer box, tissue packs, xyron sticker maker x 3, carrier bag, bubble wrap, box of ear plugs, elastic band, colour catcher sheets, pair of fingerless gloves, pack of stockings x 2, paperwork, empty tablet box, cardboard box, hardboard frame, polystyrene.

DSis and I had a clear out last weekend. We were due to take the stuff to charity this weekend but a collecting came through the door. Some bits we kept back as bric-à-brac but we’re now one large bag of stuff down and there’s room in the landing!
