@vulpix Your fabric is probably nestled next to your dressing gown!
So glad went out yesterday when the sun was out and it was a pretty nice day. Today was grey and cold and then wet and windy.
Feel like all I’ve done today is answer texts and emails. Putting the dish washer on was about as productive as I got.
I know I decluttered the airing cupboard a wee while ago but it’s just not working so I’ve decided everything has got to come out and I mean everything. Then a good sort out before putting back only what REALLY needs to be there. Probably Thursday.

thanks for the cutlery ideas guys I think it's the Kings design but not sure when she brought it, a quick count earlier came to 80 items but I'm not sure yet if there's six of everything (knife, forks etc) until a couple of years ago it was kept in its canteen but I can't find the box at the moment I'll ask her. There is a lot on eBay not selling so I'll look for a artist I've seen birds made of cutlery at the gift shop in a local garden as well so I may go and look for a name as I think it said it was local. It can wait a while as long as it doesn't come here.
I added a lot of items on free cycle this afternoon, three items left the house this evening and four people should be collecting a further nine items tomorrow morning but I'll have to leave them on the doorstep and hope it goes well in my absence 🤞 I've five more items to list here but decided that was enough for today or I'll get confused. There is a lot at her place still, I'm deciding between CS and rehoming this way.
I will confess to bringing home a lovely little crystal milk jug and sugar bowl. I'm tempted by a crystal fruit bowl and vase but haven't brought them home, do I really need them?
I'm at Petworth tomorrow and have filled a bag of books to take as long as the buggy is working as it's too heavy to carry up from the carpark 💪
She used to make her own clothes dresses, suits, blouses etc and I found a bag full of unused zips about 15 of them the longest ones 22inches plus some other sewing stuff ie packs to make fabric buttons, bias binding and a box of buttons. I'm debating adding some off cuts of fabric from my supplies and seeing if I can find someone to take the bag or to take it to one of the CS which sell crafting stuff.
Petworth will offer some light relief tomorrow, I'll decompress with the books 😁 all the volunteers are in to sort some stuff which rarely happens so it will be good to catch up

I went and paid the balance of the bedroom blind.
I won't make a decision on the vertical blinds for the craft room until chap comes to do a final measure after the laminate is laid. I think I will probably stick with my original choice but need to see the floor colour with the painted wall.
I only bought two stripey hand towels for the cloakroom when I was in Home Sens. They had some lovely garden furniture and little tables that I could put in a summerhouse. I need to go and look at the ones available where they are made - about 6 miles away.
Been to the last Lent course this evening - I had made apricot muffins.
Very cold and windy here.

Suzeesu, hahahaha, brilliant. I did find the material in a drawer when I was looking for something else tonight. Too late now. I was going to recover the bench I made Mr V get out of the loft, find out it was too long for where I wanted it and made him put it back again!
I don't think I have too much stuff anymore but things are perhaps not in the right place or like with like since the move. When life quietens down a bit I will do a kit check. Perhaps I could put all my craft supplies in the new wardrobe together.
Brambling I think you could bring the crystal pieces home to remind you of your friend. You can always make a decision about them in the future. I brought some things home from my Mum's house and later let them go. I took a photo of them first.
It's winter again here. When we were coming home over the tops, all the sheep were standing under the walls in the fields. A sign they expect snow and sleet.
A quieter day for me tomorrow, just a haircut.

Tuesday continued: the SW wind has picked up so now feels 7° colder. DH & I had a bowl of hm soup for lunch - tasty but lacked depth. Finished knitting the hat & started another. Never did quite get around to doing anything useful 😅 I made spaghetti bolognaise for dinner. Wudupa
550 Kitchen recycling
551 - 552 Kitchen & lr detritus - binned
We had a couple of 20 minute showers between 22:00 & 23:45. About 03:30 I came over all peculiar - felt almost like having sunstroke - face became really hot, I couldn’t breathe & felt slightly nauseous & faint + started juddering 😱 Spent the next 20 minutes getting my breathing back to almost normal, cooling down & making sure I wouldn’t be sick & went to bed. DH was still awake so made sure I was OK & I was asleep in about 20 minutes. Slept through to 07:00 & woke up feeling a lot better. I am currently having a large cup of tea & will then go back to bed for a couple more hours sleep.
suzeesu2000, great work decluttering texts & emails 👏 Good luck with the planned sort out of your airing cupboard 🍀
Brambling that sounds like a wonderful idea for repurposing cutlery 😊More excellent decluttering from your friend’s flat 👏 Sounds like your friend is a talented seamstress ☺️ & wherever her supplies go, someone will be very grateful 🥹 Hope you have a lovely day at Petworth & manage to declutter your books 🙏
Florenceem, sounds like you are almost done with the current redecorating project 😊 Please remember to try & get some rest before starting the next round of redecorating 🙏 The apricot muffins sound delicious 😋
vulpix yippee to finding the missing material 🥳 maybe the missing dressing gown will now turn up 🤞What a lovely idea for Brambling to bring home all the crystal pieces from her friend’s home & then make a decision at a later date ☺️ Pleased to hear that you are having a rest day on Wednesday 😊 I will keep everything crossed that the last of the wintry weather will be gone by the weekend & spring will finally start 🤞
I have a 2nd cuppa & once drunk, I will head back to bed. Wednesday is overcast & chilly with a forecast high of 9°C (feeling 7° colder due to a strong WNW wind) & a low of 4°C.

Mrs SD - have a resting day.
Morning all.
I took my tablet late last night so had a drowsy wake up - later than usual.
I heard the heavy rain last night when I was in bed.
I don't have trouble going off to sleep as usually so tired when I get in bed. However it is the waking up and going to the bathroom that is a pain but my watch says that I had 9 hours sleep.
My bestie just called here - I am still in my pjs - to collect the rings. The auction woman thinks that she can get a good price for them. Bestie loved the feature wall colour.
I have asked bestie if she can take me to a shed firm to look at summerhouses on Saturday morning.
Dry here at the moment - I need to move Joshua's decorating gear that is in this room out into the garage ready for next Monday.

I need to sort out my airing cupboard too Suzeesu. It is a total mess. I just threw some more stuff in there to hide from the cleaner!

Busy morning and out this evening. I did one school run then filled car up with stuff for tip. Hairdressers then back to town tip (I needed to go there because I had rubble and they don't take it at village tip near hairdresser). So windy out that I don't look like I have been to hairdressers at all. Glad to see back of the pile of stuff on drive.
