Welcome back everyone who is rejoining, welcome newbies, hello regulars (think I've covered everyone? )
Had a lovely festive season. Quiet Xmas with just us 2 then mum joined us for this week. Lovely day today, gorgeous roasties and steak pie, some fun table games, a quiz now about to catch up on worlds strongest.
Nothing much will happen this weekend but aiming to get on over next fortnight as we are forecast rubbish weather so will be good to get straight

Well done passing the maths gcse @florianatwobob.
I bet you are pleased.
I managed to pass my gcse maths at a c or new grade 4 last year and was so happy.
I was pretty close to a higher grade, but am pleased to have passed.
I also managed to declutter friends who were no good for me too last year.
Enough was enough, as they were acting no better than teenagers in adult bodies. Especially one of them in particular who can't or won't respect my boundaries, refuses to take no for an answer and amongst other things was trying to financially be abusive in a roundabout way.
I'm so pleased to be away from them.
Now to concentrate on what I need to, including decluttering the clutter and the weight I put back on.Decluttering campaign 2023

Happy New Year everyone!
Had a lovely day today, we went for a long walk, me, DH, 3 kids, my parents, my sister and her boyfriend, and her dog. Then a delicious (if expensive) pub meal.
Currently watching Traitors with DD11, and then will watch stranger things finale with DS13.
We're having 3 new bedroom floors fitted on Wednesday so I really need to clear all the furniture so it can be moved around which feels like a huge job! There's Christmas presents everywhere and piles of washing and all sorts of detritus from the kids being home for 2 weeks. Absolute chaos.
Not managed to declutter anything physical today, but did delete 253 emails and 496 photos from my phone.Unsecured debts total -

Happy New Year everyone.
My good intentions for the year:
Find a place to sit where I don't hurt more.
Clear the mess on the kitchen floor.
This year I want to be able to invite people over.
Declutter roommates.
We had rain earlier but it has cleared up and isn't supposed to come back until Saturday.

Oh well done @Pennypincin that is a huge achievement! My GCSE was many moons ago but that was the one I got emotional about (stuff the A’s I got!).I ended up having to complete a Level 2 NVQ a few years ago because my tight and decidedly Machiavellian manager at the time found out a Level 3 NVQ he wanted us to do would be cheaper if we did the Level 2 as well as then he got funding. I was not impressed.✒️ Declutter 2025 🏅👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

I'd like to join in with this thread please.
LOADS to declutter. Clothes that don't fit coming out of my ears. A new kitchen planned for this year so the "second drawer down" needs a thorough sorting and the utility room (home gym) needs reclaiming from the decorating stuff and various wood working tools.
Today:
We bought a chair bed and needed to create some space in the office room for it so today I cleared a large hamper of things that have moved house three times and never been looked at. Got rid of a ton of baggage in both sense of the word there. The kitchen "third drawer" has been sorted to a manageable level of takeaway containers (we got rid of the huge chest freezer early last year so I've cut down to 14 from about 60).
Jobs for the weekend:
Horse stuff chest: sort into keep, sell and chuck. Put chest under catio and review in spring.
Utility: Tools and paint etc move to shed or upstairs cupboard. Organise laundry stuff so it has a proper place to live when not in use rather than the downstairs loo. Bring pool stuff up and store it on the hall shelf (until the third shed gets put up in spring it can go in there then).
Clothes/Jewellery: Take some photos of at least 2 items and get DH to teach me selling on eBay. If anyone has any advice on how do do Vinted that would be gratefully received. I've heard Vinted is good but I've never used it to buy or sell.
Extras: In my reclaimed utility room get the treadmill out and actually use it. My goal is walking 5000 steps on the days I'm not at work. Saturday is the first day.
I'll hold myself accountable on this thread and use it as motivation to achieve little steps towards a bigger end of year goal.
Good luck everyone
