@ SuperSavingD - Well done & congratulations on your efforts todate 🤗
#27 Presently £1105 / £2880 - Delighted as I only started this MSE challenge at the beginning of May and all the money saved todate has come from rebates for dual fuel overpayments, adjusted and lowered monthly DD's / reductions and additional reduction entitlements on other household Bills.
Based on the above, I'm presently saving and putting away into my emergency 2 savings pot £89.62 each month. Plus, I receive monthly interest on all the money I've saved so far, so it can't be bad 🤗

Thanks Dizzycap. Busy selling unwanted clothes/household items. Less stuff/less cleaning is my thinking. Must have made about £150 in the last two weeks, still awaiting some funds. More listings to do tomorrow.2 -
Awesome! I hope you make loads selling all your unwanted items. I had to laugh @ "Less stuff/less cleaning is my thinking" 😂🤣, but so very true 😄. The issue is when you start cluttering up again and it's so easily done, so a daily / weekly decluttering becomes a necessity to keep the
unwanted junk/tatwonderful treasures out of the house 😅😅.--**MONEYFACTS**-- FULL List of Money Comparison Products + News / Guides--Personal MSE 2026 Money Saving Challenges:# Regular Savers 2026- New 9/12 - Total: 31 (6)# No.2 Save 1p A Day Challenge 2026 £355.02 / £667.95 (6)# No.4 Save £12k in 2026 - £8492.37 / £12,000 (6)# £10-a-Day Challenge 2026 - £710.56 / £1825 (6)# No.8 Sealed Pot Challenge 19 (22/10) 426 / £400 (6)# No.27 - Top Up EP 2 £1255 / £2880 (6).# Decluttering Challenge (6)# No.4 £2 Savers Club 2026 - Completed# No.5 Fiver Friday Challenge 2026 - Completed# Make £2026 in 2026 - Completed# Spectos Mailagent - ReadyMotto: 'SAVE before you spend on Non-essentials'1 -
#2 £1110.10/£2200 more tat has left the house and the funds are starting to make a dent! Great that the totals are starting to come down in between pay days. Listed a few things today and more to do tomorrow. It seems effort but worth it when the payments roll in.

@ SuperSavingD - Congratulations. You're over halfway of your target 🤗. Listing is always the most time consuming element of online selling, but good descriptions including measurements and good photo's wins the 'Savings Bank Balance' prize 🥇🏆️/
Here's hoping that you well exceed your target as that's when selling your
tatunwanted items really becomes exciting 😂🤣 - Ker-Ching!--**MONEYFACTS**-- FULL List of Money Comparison Products + News / Guides--Personal MSE 2026 Money Saving Challenges:# Regular Savers 2026- New 9/12 - Total: 31 (6)# No.2 Save 1p A Day Challenge 2026 £355.02 / £667.95 (6)# No.4 Save £12k in 2026 - £8492.37 / £12,000 (6)# £10-a-Day Challenge 2026 - £710.56 / £1825 (6)# No.8 Sealed Pot Challenge 19 (22/10) 426 / £400 (6)# No.27 - Top Up EP 2 £1255 / £2880 (6).# Decluttering Challenge (6)# No.4 £2 Savers Club 2026 - Completed# No.5 Fiver Friday Challenge 2026 - Completed# Make £2026 in 2026 - Completed# Spectos Mailagent - ReadyMotto: 'SAVE before you spend on Non-essentials'1 -
I've done it :) 10k down this year, originally owed about 35k that I counted. I think it was probably more. It feels very strange to think that everything I earn belongs to me now (obviously except basic bills).
About 35k March 24
<then many hours working, little sleep, much grumbling>
Now:
£13577 Jan 25
£9500 Dec 25
£0 all cleared May 26!
Now (May 26) starting on the mortgage...90k and counting....4 -
Congratulations Peacocking. Must feel amazing. Well done 🎉🎉
