By pay day I will be back down to £6000 after the worst few months ever. I have transferred my current card to a 36 month 0% transfer card. I have decided to pay it off at 150 approx a month so it is clear by the end of the interest free period. I have also decided I wanted to enjoy life and not scrimp for the next 12 months. I have learnt my lesson and will not use debt any more - I have had to the last few months to help sort things out for family. That lesson, we don't know what is round the corner, has hit me straight between the eyes and by 'enjoying life' I mean have a substantial emergency fund as a £1000 has not been anywhere near enough. I may well change my mind about getting the debt paid off quicker but at the moment this will make me feel 'happier'.

£1245/£2200 - £955 to go! I never want another cc or debt again, and there’s more to go after this 😬🫣 but I have also learned my lesson too.
