I've only been paying just over my minimum payment every month and the total was going down so slowly (especially when interest is then added on).
I've sold / re sold some tickets for an event I can no longer attend and have paid of £193.09 in one go. I'm under £1000 and it feels like the end is much closer now :)

Hi All 🤗.
#Well done everyone with all the hard work with clearing debt. It's not easy, but slow, little, and often wins the race 🤗😉.
I'd love to join this challenge and have added myself as #27, if that's ok?
Whilst I'm not technically paying off debt, I've decided I would create a 'moral obligation debt' to myself by replacing funds used in my 2nd (backup) Emergency Fund amounting to £2880 by the end of December 2026. As I'm involved in a number of MSE money saving challenges, I know I'll be stretching myself as I won't be using any funds saved through any of the other MSE challenges, so I will need to be more financially creative & savvy, but that's exactly what challenges are about 🤗😉.
#27 - I'm starting off with a duel fuel DD saving of £45pm for 2 months plus a £20 Tarrif switch payment through the MSE Energy Club = £110 in the pot.

Morning all,
Had notification that I've got too much credit in my duel fuel accounts; as I've been overpaying with monthly DDs, so have been reimbursed £240 which has gone stright into my Top UP EP2 account 🤗.
There's also the latest MSE email which has also highlighted Energy DDs and overpayments along with other potential areas of bill overpayments etc - See Here
