..and this is the tariff aimed at users for low standing charges, does not qualify for the new EDF Flextras or Power Perks either.

Glad I went on FF Static on 17 July ( Get same free electricity periods as FF Dynamic)
Does not reflect 1 October VAT reduction.

Standing charge
40.76p per day - £6.25 per month SC low trail discount.
EDF have put £100 exit fee on current FF Static 24 month version. ( Rates on quote page reflect VAT reduction from 1 October)

FreePhase (TOU tariff) are not eligible for the Weekend Saver but can claim a free 12-month Tastecard and 4 hours of free electricity (I think)https://www.edfenergy.com/campaign/flexing2 -

The 4 hours will be good, but I think I will bank them for those expensive days in the middle of winter when I can put them to the best use.
While I missed out of FP Static, I'm still saving vs SVT and Agile Octopus. Tomorrow does not look good, but it is likely to be the worst day of the week with a sudden drop in wind generation. However, it does not bode well for those crisp, still, winter days.

Just in case anyone is put off switching to FF Static by stated £100 exit fee. (Free electricity sessions are account credit rather than reduced rate)
Likely would not be able to transfer low SC trial benefit to a FF Static should it no longer be available to new signups.

What is this low SC trial benefit you speak of? Was that something available to people who signed up to FF a long time ago?
Currently FreePhase Static 24m v4 is priced at (EM region):
Green: 14.52p; Amber: 22.5p; Red: 41.96p; SC: 44.52pMy usage split in mid-winter is Green: 24%; Amber: 73%, Red: 3%, so that would work out at an average rate of 21.2p
The SC is lower than my existing Dynamic and I've seen the average unit rate in my last three monthly bills track up significantly:
Jun/Jul: 13.0p average
Jul/Aug: 18.5p average
Aug/Sep: 22.0p averageThe exit fee was putting me off considering static. If the past month's rates are here to stay, then there is a small saving to be had on static. Whereas if they drop back to earlier months, then dynamic could offer a more substantial saving.
I am tempted.

Low SC Trial is/was incorporated as part of signup to FF Dynamic and Static, not known if still available, it is based on current usage, if usage stops fitting in with lower and upper limits they might cancel participation, credits awarded are not taken away. - consumption threshold of 666 kWh - 1800 kWh per year
If change from Dynamic to SVR, cashback is offered for changing to Freephase via TCB, maybe worth waiting for closing Freephase dynamic statement.
