Also if you’re also signed up to Uswitch what will they pay for their “Free Electricity” offer also from 8am-4pm tomorrow?
If you're lucky enough to have both, you'll potentially get the benefit of both as Uswitch will probably pay out based on SVT.
On EDF Sunday Saver offer of 8hrs free electricity I used 76.33kwh and have been charged £2.24 for the whole day.

Even if I don’t get the £10 Uswitch offer as well, well worth doing.
I thought the Sunday Saver was based on a calculation of load shifting, or was the Christmas day free energy just offered under that umbrella?
I managed to clock up 17 kWh over the day at a cost of £3.30 before the Uswitch rebate, so should end up at around -£1 for the day.
Freephase customers were given  free electricity Xmas day 8am-4pm.

I just assumed it was under the Sunday Saver banner sorry for any confusion.

Sunday Saver and linked Xmas day F.E T+C excludes Freephase customers.

Good example to compare to Agile as the prices really look random - Amber has 2p at 9am and 15p before and after red zone 16-19.
Same with green, at 23:00 today it's 16p and then gets as low as 3p.

    Green 3p-16p averages to 6p
    Amber 2p-15p averages to 8p
Red more or less the same

That’s why I prefer Dynamic cos it’s easier though if you’re more “Agile” you could take advantage of the cheaper slots on Agile 😁

For me with a thermal store, Agile works much better. Usually heated by gas but when cheaper on electric it's heated that way. All controlled by home assistant so no need for me to do anything.

If it wasn't for that 6 kWh load I can put on when its cheap, the Freephase tariff would work out better.

I don’t have home assistant or similar. The averaging of rates means the price is stable so I can turn off gas heating and water heating and use Electric for everything.

De humidifiers will go on at 11:00pm tonight until 4pm  tomorrow.  Laundry, cooking, washing dishes etc. can all be done at anytime, other than avoiding Red rate from 4pm-7pm, up till 11.00pm.
