    Free electricity 8-15 😅
    08:00 - 16:00... supposedly.

I don't know why they use a sloping line, instead of continuing horizontally until 16:00, then vertically up (same for  07:00 - 08:00 - horizontally until 08:00, then vertically down?)?

The Free Electricity through EDF FreePhase is supposedly from 8am-4pm but there’s a confusing note on the Tariff page that says
“The rate for Amber is an average based on both paid and free hours”

I’m not sure exactly what they mean by that.    Any Ideas?

Also if you’re also signed up to Uswitch what will they pay for their “Free Electricity” offer also from 8am-4pm tomorrow?

A vertical line would require two values in the same hourly segment.
it would be better presented as a bar chart, but as long as they're going to use a line chart then sloping lines are inevitable.

If you're lucky enough to have both, you'll potentially get the benefit of both as Uswitch will probably pay out based on SVT.

I disagree - the times are for the start of the period; the UR is the same from (for example) 07:00 - 07:30, and 07:30 - 08:00, which is not what a sloping line from 07:00 -  08:00 indicates (to me, at least) - IMO, it should be horizontal for the same UR, then a vertical line at the transition point from one UR period to the next, like this:

Maybe Farouk has a bit of time to consult on this ;)

One of the (very few?) things he got right? 🤔

On EDF Sunday Saver offer of 8hrs free electricity I used 76.33kwh and have been charged £2.24 for the whole day.

Even if I don’t get the £10 Uswitch offer as well, well worth doing.

I thought the Sunday Saver was based on a calculation of load shifting, or was the Christmas day free energy just offered under that umbrella?
I managed to clock up 17 kWh over the day at a cost of £3.30 before the Uswitch rebate, so should end up at around -£1 for the day.
