3 days at office job left to go! It's been a tough week, it has dragged and I am quite frankly fed up with the company! Since I handed my notice in at the beginning of July, 4 more people have as well! Yes, you read that correctly, 4! 2 of which are my work friends that I meet with regularly outside of work, so that means out of the group of 4 of us that meet up outside of work, 3 of us are leaving in August and only work bestie will remain. We've renamed our WhatsApp group to 'Last One Standing' in honour of work bestie 🤣

Cleaning has been going well and I have 20 hrs of work now lined up for when I leave office job, this alone is enough to pay my half of the bills, so any extra money earnt will go towards my retirement and paying off the mortgage. I'm feeling very positive about my future and that i have made the right decision 🙂

I have a 3 cleaning jobs this weekend so better get cracking!

That's fantastic news Jessy! 👏🏻 Well done on having already made enough to survive! That's the hard part done and any extra is a bonus. The relief you'll feel when you no longer have to go in will be worth every penny you've lost (that's certainly how I'm feeling anyway!) x

I finished office job on Wednesday, what a relief! I don't think it will quite sink in for a few weeks yet though. I had an exit interview and was very honest 🤣 We then went out to celebrate afterwards as I had some vouchers from my birthday for one of our favourite pub/restaurants in the village next to us.

I have another new cleaning customer 🎉 This will be one for a Thursday morning. I now have hours everyday of the week (apart from Sundays) I would like to cut out Saturdays altogether but I'm only going to be doing an hour at lunchtime helping a lady get her lunch and a bit of cleaning.

Then in other good news. We got our new addition to the family! Dog 3 aka Saga, 6 months old and a beautiful noodle 🤣
