I think offering extra services would be a good idea. Dog walking would be an idea. Older people find that hard and you’d be well experienced for that! Just another idea for you to ponder x

I'm going to see what happens at work next week with regards to going part time. If I am not allowed, I will be rebranding to home help. I just need to decide when to hand my notice in, I dont want to cut my nose off to spite my face, so I feel like sticking with it for July and August then handing my notice in at the beginning of September would be a good idea. This gives me a couple of extra months to boost savings. I can be impatient though and if they say no, I know I will just want to leave and get started on my own business and getting that advertised and established. Feel very torn at the moment!
I had a good birthday yesterday anyway. I got myself some new trainers for £51.99 and a new coat for £75.99, although that seems like a lot of money for me to spend on myself, DH keeps telling me it really isn't in the grand scheme of things. I did also buy some plants from the local garden nursery as they had some good deals! They are also opening a cafe soon which is deadly really 🤣
We went round to my parents in the afternoon for cake and pressecco. My mum baked the cake, which is a rarity nowadays with her MS and it was amazing, she made biscoff buttercream 😋 I will not be drinking pressecco anymore though, I only had one glass of it and have a terrible headache today. This happened at Christmas when we got a bottle from work, i had one glass with food and the next day, banging headache! I will stick to cider from now on and boy do I have a lot of that after yesterday 😅
A nice morning walk this morning with DH and the dogs. He goes back to work tomorrow and i have two cleaning jobs tomorrow afternoon and one on Friday morning. Its been lovely having time off from the main job and spending it together.
I've been mortgage free once, so let's do it again!
