So pleased you loved the house 😀. The dream house isnt sold yet and it feels like a few weeks since you first saw it listed which I think works in your favour.

Very exciting! Nothing stopping you putting an offer in. They might not accept it if you haven't sold yours - but we accepted an offer from someone who hadn't sold theirs (and then waited for them to sell) so you never know! People are in all kinds of circumstances, and if you're interested, the estate agent might well know someone who wants your house... all fingers and toes crossed here!4

How exciting jessy, I agree with cheery daff and would offer too, we have done that before 🙂MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁3

Thanks everyone. We've still got a couple of places we'd like to see and we'll see what sort of reaction we get to ours. I just don't want to offer and mess the sellers about if we struggle to sell this place.
We've had a couple of nice days in Lowestoft with DHs family. I'm a little bit upset with boyo as we thought he was coming here for a few days before and we'd all travel to Lowestoft together. Turns out he went straight from uni in Leeds to Lowestoft and bypassed us. He didn't want to spend Christmas day here either and is having it with DHs mum, dad, brother and his wife instead. I'm gutted for DH more than anything and boyo didn't even let us know. I guess that's 18 year olds for you 🤷♀️
Anyway, we're having a nice quiet day here. We've opened presents and so have the dogs. We'll be getting up shortly and going to my parents to see them and my grandad. We'll then come home and I'll cook us a nice Christmas Dinner. We have cheese, crackers and chutneys for later 😋
Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you all have a lovely day and get everything you would like. Lots of love to you all x

Aw I'm sorry boyo didn't come over 🙁 teens can be a bit thoughtless really 🫤 I hope you had a wonderful day anyway. Your plans sounded good 🥰. I hope you had a good day.
Good luck with the listing today! I'm a bit like @South_coast but I have an alert for half a mile around mine 🤣. Need to make sure I don't overspend on DIY by keeping an eye on the market 🙈 that's my excuse anyway haha.Emergency Fund goal - £717.77/1500

Thanks SC, NG & DFW x
Haha what are you lot like with the rightmove alerts 🤣 Tbh I hadn't even thought of setting one up, I'm going to have to now! Our little bungalow is on there, I checked first thing this morning, I'm happy with the few photos there are and the description so fingers crossed for some interest. We have had contact from the estate agents photographer saying they will contact us in the new year to come and take some more/better photos. I'm also waiting for a board to be put up which I hope will happen in the next week.
A lovely day was had yesterday. Lots of nice presents. In usual MIL fashion though she got me stuff I won't use, this year a box full of bath bombs. I am not a bath person, I don't like the wait to fill it up, I don't like using that much water and I get bored when I finally sit in them 🤣 If anyone loves a bath and enjoys bath bombs, ping me a dm and I'll happily post them to you so at least I know they will get used and not go to waste! Otherwise, I will take them to the local thrift shop! I know I must sound really ungrateful but I wish she'd just ask if there was anything I'd like. I would have loved a box full of shower gels! She did make me some veggie sausage rolls from scratch though, which was very nice of her. SIL bought us one of those silly lord and lady titles for a small bit of land in Cumbria, probably no bigger than a postage stamp. I did say to DH we would go visit it next time we're in the Lake District 🤣 I'm very much with Martin Lewis with regards to Christmas presents and don't like buying stuff for the sake of it. I now have to find homes for all this stuff when I was trying to declutter ready for moving!
Today is a nice lazy day after the stress of the past few days. I will probably be eating my weight in cheese and biscuits 🤣 We've been out for a couple of little walks with the dogs which have been nice because it is a beautiful day. 🌞Starting Mortgage Balance (June 2019) £72,000. lady jessy ! How lovely, I hope your ceremonial robes can be accommodated in the wardrobes 😆
You are right in immediately rehoming anything you won't use, just get it out the house. Maybe suggest a secret santa for next year so everyone just has to buy and to receive one present?
Good luck with the house, mind tell everyone you know as you never know who they know that are looking for a place. Hope your sign goes up soon as those will alert anyone local who isn't actively searching
